* ''VideoGame/HonkaiStarRail'': Himeko makes a deal with Aventurine to vouch for the Trailblazer so they can accompany the rest of the crew in Penacony, with the Trailblazer also receiving the hotel room the IPC executive had originally booked for himself. Despite the hotel being extremely upscale and the rooms being identical, Aventurine explains that he took great additional pains to reserve himself a room with a lucky number, in a block with a lucky number, and on a floor with a lucky number, using it to emphasize how big of a deal it is that he gave it up for them.-->'''Aventurine:''' You have no idea how much I went through to book this precious space… and now I've given it to you. Treasure it well, friend.

Ever hear of a little phrase called Standard of Living? Don't know what that means? Well, it means that someone likes to live a certain way and is uncomfortable when a potential place to stay at does not meet their requirements. Some people like to live an elitist life if they have a highbrown mentality, some people likes things in any place to be at a certain arrangement, most likely due to having OCD, some people's standard of living might be on account of their culture and therefor feel that deviating from those standards would be insulting to said culture. Others just find minor faults like a house's height, structure, or any other variant that clashes with their needs, which overlaps FirstWorldProblems, or they're just too lazy to adapt to an environment that requires them not to half-ass living in it.

In most cases, the person in question may have to lower her standards when they are in no position to be picky, likely due to financial purposes or having no authority over the household. This can often be a source of comedy in the media that represents this trope as the one who has too high standards ends up going through comedic discomfort when having to stay in a place that they find below their pride.

It's only when they start thinking of what Twilight wants that they manage to make the castle feel more like home.
