Website Review
I really like this forum. I've found threads for all sorts of topics and some really good fanfics. The Infinite Loops project is fascinating. The only problem is that if you're a writer, but write at a slow pace, your fic will get lost in the chaos, as everything is in thread mode.

Website Horrible forums full of elitists and pessimists.
Terrible forum. You won't find any actual discussion here. It's a circlejerk where anyone who dares to have a different opinion gets banned.
Website Don't be a nonconformist
It's a good enough forum as long as you're not straying from the consensus of the majority. In the Creative Writing section for example, leaving a review that's not a glowing praise of the series often resulting in people dogpilling you for being a hater, and woe if you're trying to say that you don't like a popular story while it's still running. Whitehall (The Politics forum) is even worse. If you're anything but a pro-west leftist and looking for a neutral place to debate you might as well not bother going there. The Media, Gaming, Roleplaying, Quest, and other such forums are fine enough however, barring the usual.
There's also this pet peeve of mine: SB loves to circlejerk about how quirky they are and believe that being snarky is a personality (see the Quotes page for reference). It's not uncommon to read several posts where people speak like they're the protagonist of a cheap YA novel in succession, something that I find cringeworthy and tiring.
