If you prefer movies to have a comprehensible plot, this movie is not for you. If you like watching angst interspersed with faux symbolism, topped off with graphic violence that adds nothing to the story, then check it out.

What can I say about Anti Christ, other than it's the lovechild of The Shining and Eraserhead with a few good religious deconstructions thrown in. Oh, and it's one of those movies where you don't know if you want to keep watching (though you're three seconds away from screaming your lungs out) or shut the movie off (so you can run screaming down the street...or vomit).
It deals with some very, very, very heavy topics. Mysogyny/gynocide, mental illness, a baby falling to his death to name a few. And that's not even half the stuff Mr. Von Trier throws at you. Did I mention that this was made during a severe depression? It shows.
Almost everything that happens is purely up to the viewer to analyze. It'll definitely make you think, I will give it that much. There are some scenes that will make you physically cringe, so be careful.
