The most IC Soul/Maka fanfic around. While the plot is fairly basic and mainly a set up for character interaction, the character interaction is brilliantly done, frequently hilarious and does justice to the canon. While Soul and Maka are the main focus, a good portion of the rest of the Soul Eater cast get a chance to show themselves. However, the best part of the fic is definitely the relationship between Soul and Maka. It was written before the Salvage arc in the manga, so the main plot (which is the rescue of Kid) doesn't gel with canon, but that detracts absolutely nothing from the fic at all.
