And I mean this, suddenly Shokugeki turned into a blood political war that has utterly rebuilt Soma into a character that could perfectly well stand on his own in A Game of Thrones. Now, by far this doesn't mean this is anything close to bad, in my opinion this is a masterpiece that with some extra work and new names could be a brand new different novel that focuses on cooking like Shokugeki does. Hats off, this is fascinating. May not be to everyone's liking though, mostly on how cold blooded Soma has become or at least half of him
