Well-crafted, subversive Self Insert Fic that is by turns touching and funny. A mostly Dead Fic — the most recent chapter was posted in early 2008 after a hiatus of a couple years, and another couple years seems likely before the next appears, but the author managed 13 chapters that carry the reader well toward the endgame of the series.

Realistic characterization and fascinating plot points make this a true gem. Hilarious and heartrending in turns, I give my utmost praises to Foxboy for writing himself into a fictional world in so believable a way. Highly recommended.
