The quality of the story is breathtaking. It has many elements of humor from the craziness of Sabo, while still having its awesome and serious moments, and a lot of potential for things to go differently than in canon, though it starts out with events much the same. Changes will likely occur farther down the line, and it's bound to be epic.
Sabo contributes much to the story, and among the Straw Hats, being Luffy's Quartermaster/ First Mate (He prefers the former) and uses a rifle named Bonnie, who is also his girlfriend (It seems nuts at first, but it turns out the rifle is in fact sentient, because she's possessed due to currently unspecified events). A lot of humor comes from this unorthodox relationship, and Sabo quickly establishes a rivalry with Zoro, though the Zoro and Sanji rivalry still exists, and also an effective duo with Ussop.
Of course, Sabo doesn't come without scars from his encounter with the Celestial Dragon, and now has a serious hatred for all things Noble and Royal, to the point he nearly kills Vivi before Bonnie convinces him to give her a chance, and he harbors the goal of taking down the WG. He still turns down Dragon in this story though, due to meeting him later, and being on Luffy's crew. For now, he is settling for getting the Straw Hats great publicity to ensure people see them as heroes, and potentially make the WG look bad along the way.
Not only that, but some of the changes are starting to become apparent: Those who mourn the lack of romance and real pairings in the canon manga, this story will provide those!
FanficRecs Absolutely amazing.

All in all, I highly recommend this story.
