Sullen Frog's review, transferred from the comments field

  • Comments: A well-written story set in the aftermath of Kang's invasion, it starts out within the bounds of the show's canon but quickly verges into Alternate Universe territory. It does a very good job of expanding upon the Earth's Mightiest Heroes universe; Marvel fans will enjoy all the subtle nods and cameos to characters from the comics which litter this story, and while the primary focus of this tale is of course the Avengers themselves, other Marvel characters who feature prominently are well-written and entertaining. Complex Designs also does a good job of exploring the psyches of its main characters; in particular, it succeeds at making Ultron himself a chilling and compelling villain with flying colours.
