A Beautiful, slow-tempo minimalist work of art that will break your heart Flagged

A Ghost Story is underrated and dismissed by audiences (even if it got rave reviews from critics) because it's minimalist and it lacks the same CGI and glamour as big budget Hollywood movies such as Marvel's Iron Man and Avengers or Star Wars.

The most unforgettable part of the movie is when the Natives shot that little European girl with an arrow even though she really didn't do anything to them. It just goes to show you that Native Americans were truly the barbaric savages and the evil-doers of modern US history - in my elementary, middle and maybe even high school we're getting brainwashed to accept that European immigrants simply shot and killed natives on sight for land development. The thing is that the Natives were very uncivilized and unwelcoming as well (you think the Natives used their bow and arrows ONLY on animals??), NO! They used it on children just like this movie showed! Natives had no qualms about killing White children and White women any more so than they would kill White adult men. Not to mention, Native American tribes were always at war with each other killing and killing, many Native tribes even sided with British and French arrivers just to wage war on rival tribes.

I really wondered if C actually did feel sorry for that little girl. Maybe if he didn't feel sorry he wouldn't have watched her decay, or maybe C did watch cause he had nothing else to do.

So please give this movie a chance and you might like it even if you're not into Minimalism or you're not much of a silent movie lover.

...Is this satire?

...Well, *I\'m* left dumbfounded. And not just because the bulk of this review is spent not actually reviewing the movie but ranting about Native Americans.

Well that was unexpected.

I really hated the movie and turned it off, because my life is too short to watch a woman eat an entire pie for five minutes. I must have turned it off before that bit where the entire movie turns into an allegory for native americans.

EDIT: Looked up the guy's tvtroper page, now nothing is a surprise.

Well. This certainly went to places I wasn\'t expecting.

Well... I just wanted to make another comment starting with "Well."

...Well, actually, no, that's not all. Everything this guy writes regarding racial and ethnic issues is inherently problematic, yet so "scientifically" formulated he might as well be a member of Trump's cabinet. Short of bringing out phrenological flowcharts, he's like the villain of some soapbox webcomic.

It'll catch up with him someday. Until then, just ignore him.
