This fic gives a fairly good look at what it must feel like to be a "normal," non-White-Fang-affiliated Faunus in the world of RWBY, from dog-faunus-Ruby's viewpoint.
It starts out good, and the parts focusing on Ruby, RWBY, and the ripple effect of Ruby being a Faunus aren't bad at all. That having been said, the author writes Faunus as much more in-tune with their 'other nature' than they are portrayed in the show (Blake's love of tuna aside), going so far as to have Ruby act much more like a dog than a person at times, and while some of the incidents are admittedly cute and/or amusing, others just make me want to cringe.
Also, later on the author decided to bring in OCs for no real reason, and YMMV on whether that's acceptable or not (I, personally, believe the story had no need of the OCs and in my opinion they simply detract from the rest of the story).
In the end, this story isn't a bad fic per se, but I would hesitate to recommend reading it.
