I consider this to be the "Sonic Colors" of Pixar. While I was okay with Brave, it's obvious that Cars 2 made the Pixar movies drop down in quality. So as you could expect, not many people would of been happy when Pixar announced "Monsters University". Yet ANOTHER sequeal to a movie no one really asked for...Oh wait...I'm sorry, er...a prequeal.
So, what do I think of it? Actually...pretty good...
Basically, it's a story of how Sully and Mike enter a scaring competition after they blow it in a test and are banned from doing scar class. Most of the movie is just simpily them hanging out, partying and having the competition. While some people will think this is overdone, people like me will most likely enjoy movies like this. It's funny, it's hearwarming, it's tearjerking and it's proof that Pixar still has that charm we love about them.
So yeah...In my world, it's the Sonic Colors of Pixar movies. It shows us that they still have it in them to make a good movie, especially seeing how there newest movie is probably one of the greatest animated movies to come out in the past decade or so.
So, if your not a big fan of colledge movies, I wouldn't reccomend it. But if you are, I'd say give it a watch.
