Four Badass Quartet

The Brigade is primarily an anime review website, but what makes them different from any other dude/tte with a camcorder and internet access? One, they're very, very funny, two? They have legitimate reviewing chops. Now while I can't say that I have a favorite reviewer, cause whenever I chose one I'm reminded of the strengths of another, and the cycle continues, but I will break down the pros and cons of each below.

Arkada: Arkada is a very opinionated reviewer that has some rather...controversial likes and dislikes, but his logic is present, and makes his reasons for dislike clear even if he doesn't go much for the real deep reviews. Now, for the good bits, he is one of the enjoyable reviewers out there, he is at Spoony levels of fun. He could make reading a shopping list engaging due to his total Keetness and Large Ham-itude.

Vixen: Beyond the bewbs, she has a good deal of breadth as a reviewer, hitting movies, mucicals and of course, Yaoi OVAs. While as a reviewer she tends towards either praise or scorn, with little middle ground, she does do some pretty in depth stuff, especially for Disney, and she turned me on not like that! to Repo The Genetic Opera, so she's pretty awesome. Now, the clincher, she may not have the charisma of Ark, but her comedic styling is better, and her persona of the Ms Fanservice who hates her position on the site is an excellent Worked Shoot.

Professor Otaku: The Token Caustic Critic of the site, Prof is surprisingly not that bitter, even when reviewing total shitfests he generally has something good or positive to say, and he uses his trademark exasperation to extol the virtues of the sleaziest of works. And I do mean sleazy, he finds really weird and random shit to review, and usually can recommend the worst of it.

Jesu Otaku: JO is the most famous of the site, deservedly, and undeservedly. She is one of the greatest critics I know of, and the greatest anime reviewer I know. She's fair in her judgments and is one of the deepest thinking critics I know, she tears into her work with gusto, and really digs deep into the meaning and themes of a work. On the off hand, such heavy material can be a bit dull, and she doesn't have many moments of levity to lighten the mood.

Plus they're all really hot.

Good review of a review site. I give it 4/5 stars.

No, you give it three live action reviewers (Arkada, Vixen, and Jesu Otaku) out of four.

But there only are three live action reviewers, how can it be out of four?

Out of four reviewers.

This has nothing to do with the review itself, but isn't "Four ... Quartet" redundant?

what is this I don't even

Yeah, but they're that four-like that it needed to be said twice.

Ooooh, I get what you mean!
