Frankly, this fic is Pure Awesomeness. With excellent characterizations and intriguing plot twists, this should have been published by Marvel. What's probably the best part is that the two most polarizing characters in the franchise(Wolverine and Cyclops for those of you who don't know) are both handled well. Wolverine is clearly a central figure, but he doesn't hog the spotlight, and the author avoids turning him into a Jerk Sue. Cyclops is still the Standardized Leader, but the author demonstrates that Tropes Are Not Bad in this case, not to mention he gets a considerable amount Character Development. Not to mention that these two tend to get partnered up relatively frequently, making for some very entertaining interactions. One of the highlights is the recurring appearances the merc with a mouth, Deadpool, who's got a history with Wolverine. In fact, although Wolverine doesn't hog the spotlight, his storyline is getting pretty important. It's heavily implied to be something much, much bigger than all of the X-Men, and when it comes to light things are going straight to hell. Overall this fic is definitely worth a look for any fan of the series.
