I don't wanna seem like a sore loser, but I don't think Errol Flynn should be put as a Vanilla Protagonist, I really don't know a lot of people that considers him anything but one of, (if not the) best version of Robin Hood, and also, how would him being the first sound and color version even matter for him to be so iconic? This is a movie from 1938, the novelty of color and sound has been dead for longer than my parents have been alive. I think if Errol Flynn's popularity as Robin Hood depended solely on it more people by now would've realized.

Now yes, I know the whole point of YMMV is to collect subjective opinions regarding a work, but I think that it's pretty much agreed that at the very least a good deal of people should agree with it. Many tropers and even mods for example seem to agree with this definition.
