Sooo, I was just deleting wicks to True Art Is Offensive, but I'm reluctant to just get rid of the longer kinds of entries. Like the one that was on this page. So I'm pasting it here. In case there's someone who wants to do something with it. Yeah.

  • True Art Is Offensive: used frequently, notably controversial examples being the line "I laughed when Lennon got shot" from "Motown Junk", and the performance on Top Of The Pops of "Faster" where James Bradfield sported a balaclava, which received hundreds of complaints due to their use by the IRA - though the fact that James' had his name written on it in Tipp-Ex does make that seem a little silly.
