Have moved this one from the discussion of Hilarious in Hindsight (re: the "How It Should Have Ended" video).

  • The video uses a Suspiciously Similar Song version of a real song, "Don't You Forget Me". Riley's First Date also uses a real song, "Back In Black", during a flashback to an earlier point in Bill's life when he reveals that he was in a rock band.note

Leaving aside the fact that it's both (a) a completely different song (if the two had used the same song it would be a lot closer to the trope) and (b) the actual version of the song rather than just a Lawyer-Friendly Cover Version, using a period song as part of a flashback, flashforward or otherwise emotional moment is hardly unusual to the point of being hilarious in hindsight when it happens; it's standard part of filmmaking practice to the point of verging on People Sit On Chairs. I'm happy for it to be reinstated if I'm overruled, but even for YMMV this one seems like a bit of a stretch. At very least, I think it needs to be reworked in order to justify why it fits the trope more clearly.

Since the other example listed there seemed fine, I've amended the entry accordingly.

What sort of idiosyncratic ship names would someone's emotions have? Bittersweetness?
