"Not related to this one specific theme" is not "Unsympathetic." The entry reads as if she should be blamed for people dying of HIV, or that people dying of HIV are inherently unsympathetic or something.
Why is Sophmore Slump written up for Season 2 when the season hasn't even aired yet? Admittedly, it's entirely likely for that to be true, but I only see a handful of reviews out there, and the viewers aren't even in the mix yet.

- Viewers Are Morons: The show lays the hints to Mr. Wednesday's identity pretty thick, up to flashing his name in clear letters during Mr. World's pitch. It is impossible not to figure it out unless someone knows nothing about Odin.
- These elements, however, could be a reinforcement of the show's themes of denial and belief, with Shadow blind to Wednesday's true self, despite him barely putting on airs.
This trope is supposed to be about overexplaining basic concepts and handholding viewers so that they can follow along. In this case, Wednesday's identity is a reveal that viewers can easily guess beforehand, which isn't the same thing.
Hide / Show RepliesMaybe the original Troper went for something like Shadow is a Moron what with him not figuring out any of the clues, and then extrapolated what with him being the wiew-point-character and all.
It's not a YMMV trope anyway. It's In Universe Examples Only
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!
Since everyone has been really sketchy at this entry:
The entry is worded that one specific part of Bilquis's backstory doesn't fit with the theme "men being threatened by powerful woman" part that Mr. Nancy is trying to frame her backstory as, which makes that instance of her being not as sympathetic as the narrative painting her to be.
