Too Soon: In-universe. When Kevin Smith asked if Wonder Girl is replacing Terra after hearing the stories about what happened to her, Beast Boy's expression falls. Kevin quickly realizes he hit a sore spot and mentions the trope by name. He then assures Beast Boy that he doesn't have to talk about it if he doesn't want to.
