I'm not sure what trope this would be:
Floyd Eaglesan, given his name, is supposed to be Japanese, yet has a Chinese style Fu Manchu mustache, and when Gru is looking in the closet for the serum, shouts "Iri wa!", which is Korean for "Come here!".
