I know this might be an unpopular opinion on a site that preaches freedom of speech but isn't this article kind of mean-spirited? If we are not going to allow real-life people to be listed as villains, even Hitler presumably, than why should we make fun of idiotic individuals who just didn't think?
A recent addition is the man who wanted to make a documentary on homeless people.
"I will sleep rough, scrounge for my food, interact with as many homeless people as possible, and immerse myself in that lifestyle as deeply as I can," said the journalist - three days before freezing to death in a boarded up hostel.
Ironically he really has contributed - he has proven how dreadful homeless people's lives are.
The award comes from two other factors - a total lack of a back-up plan, and that it is suspected he took drugs while making a documentary.

I have to say it. :)
I'm a mod on the Darwin Awards and I've received awesome news:
Wendy Northcutt, aka Darwin, is BACK!
I've received an email (also addressed to the other moderators) explaining what was going on with her. Suffice to say, she had some very good reasons with her life going downhill, out of her control, that occupied her thoroughly. If she wishes to tell the public more, it's up to her.
