Just thought I'd mention I figured out how to fix the links; if you find a bad link on any page, the new format is: https://www.misfile.com/misfile/yyyy-mm-dd
Added was the "/misfile", and removed was the "?date="
Should a whole new page be made for Hell High? While it is set in the same universe, it is a whole new story and the majority of characters are brand new. So far we only have one character that has returned and a few mentions of other characters.
So, is there a set "standard" for the pronouns we use to refer to Ash? I think the article should use he/him/his, and remove any narrative uses of she/her/hers that aren't written to display the perspective of other characters.

Maybe it's just me, but it sure feels like that's a rather tight pair of shorts(skirt? Doubtful, but vaguely resembling) that Ash has on there.
Hide / Show RepliesPossibly off topic, but are the main comic forums and chat offline today to anyone else? I was in the middle of writing a post and got "Account Suspended" and I dunno if it's me or everybody. I don't remember saying anything other than mild criticism of the current plotline.
Hide / Show RepliesI don't think it's you. I have the same message and I did miss from the forum for a while
I don't suppose anyone remembers which book it was that revealed that Emily might not be alive without the Misfile? I think it's a huge shame we don't have a link for that in any reference to it, and I don't feel like doing an entire archive trawl to find it.
Hide / Show RepliesIt was towards the beginning of Book 7. Here's the page where she talks about it with Ash: http://www.misfile.com/index.php?page=751
Peek-A-Boo: I think there is no Fridge Logic if you remember that Misfile is an Animesque comic. The apparent lack of genital hair is perfectly reasonable for that.
Hide / Show RepliesI was going to say that I agreed and was going to add a note but someone has already done so. (Probably the above poster.)
Edited by KurtulmakYou know, the comic has been running long enough, and the cast is fleshed out enough, that we could have a character page for this. Perhaps someone could start one?
The comment under 'Pointy Ears' seems to make no sense. While it's true that nobody notices the ears, the angels are visible to plenty of people who don't know they're angels. Hell, Vashiel works as a receptionist! He's obviously seen by a lot of people that don't know he's an angel.
Hide / Show RepliesThe comment merely states that the ears aren't noticeable to those who don't know they're angels; it doesn't claim the angels themselves are invisible. Mayhap you have misread the intended meaning of the comment?
Edited by girlyboyShall we eliminate the whole Sheldon bashing up his car wallbanger thing: it was kind of dependent on his allies trusting his completely, and all this basically took place over the course of a few seconds. Sheldon pretty much blindsided Ash with this, so Ash instantly working out all the flaws should not be expected, compared to the people at home who have days to work this out.
Hide / Show RepliesI'd agree, Sheldon is doing standard bad guy stuff and it backfires on him. Fans like to over think this stuff, but the wallbanger trope is for Voyager's Threshold level storytelling. This doesn't qualify.
Edited by CrypticMirrorReference to the now-removed wallbanger trope under Idiot Plot. I'm just going to remove it for now, but people should re-add it with an explanation if they feel the need.
- Chickification - Ash's worst nightmare. But is slowly happening as he gets used to the body.
I deleted this because Chickification is the result of unwarranted change. Any change to Ash is completely justified by the Gender Bender.
Hide / Show RepliesNot to mention that Chickification really doesn't even apply here. The trope is about an Action Girl who is subject to Character Derailment that turns her into a frequent Distressed Damsel, and/or otherwise changes her into The Chick. This doesn't really apply to Ash, who, while he's had to adapt to being "female" in various ways, has not really become any less Bad Ass as a driver, or otherwise weaker (well, except in a very literal sense — one early page showed that he actually lost some upper-body strength... but that's about it), less competent, or a Distressed Damsel. Chickification is not for any character (female or otherwise) who shows feminine traits, after all (not that Ash is particularly "feminine" even now).
Edited by girlyboyThank you, girlyboy. I agree, and have further changed other references of Chickification to The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body, which is much more appropriate.
With the launch of Hell High, a lot of the webcomic links don't work anymore. Does anyone have an idea how to fix the links?
