^ Well, two things. #1, on Tumblr Red said somewhere (I can't find where, but I know she did) that the Spark is purely a mental thing, which this page specifies is a separate thing from the soul. #2, there's nothing the soulshapers could have done that would have given her a spark, since she also said on Tumblr that lighting has to be uncontrolled (ie, mages can't shoot lightning to do it.) to give sparks. I'm sorry I don't have sources to back this up, but I don't have time right now to dig through and find the posts I'm looking for.
Regarding recent edits fixing redundancy between the Main and Characters pages: I feel that the entries for Our Ghosts Are Different and Our Souls Are Different were generic enough not to apply to any specific species on the Characters page, and thus should stay on the Main page. I'm just checking whether there are any reasons that shouldn't be done.
