Mister Seahorse: Ian Brandon Anderson and Asperchu make themselves pregnant and give birth.
Edited by godmanShared Universe Averted. Though characters and locations from Sonichu appear in Asperchu and vice versa, they get used in very different ways to the point of being Take Thats in both cases. Alternate Character Interpretation doesn't even begin to cover it.
I can see why they wouldn't approve. The article's a shell of its former self.
I'd say that the current state of the article is fine as it is. Asperpedia should be glad that the article wasn't wiped wholesale.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I don't blame them for being disappoint. I'd be kinda pissed if my brainchild got ripped apart like this.
Oh well, at least we have something to start off of in the unlikely event this page gets unlocked.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I wouldn't say "fine as is," because FE even deleted my note that this thing wasn't complimentary towards Chris, but still. At least it exists.
Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsI can't even point a new trope here, who is going to do this now? Fast Eddie?
Doubt it. Fast Eddie doesn't really care about Asperchu and the world of CWC in general.
We at Asperpedia expected this to happen. If the Sonichu article was deleted for insulting Chris, then Asperchu certainly would. It's a whole comic of insulting Chris. Personally, we don't care what's going on here with your mods. It's none of our business. We aren't tropers and this isn't our site. However, we do have a direct stake in the Asperchu TV Tropes article because it's about an Asperpedia comic. It is my humble opinion therefore that if we aren't allowed to have the article proper then we should just delete it, because I can tell you right now that people aren't happy about the new "non offensive" article.
I know this might have a Hitler Ate Sugar ring to it, but do you know who you're starting to sound like? CWC, that's who. The reason that CWC got as infamous as he did was because he overreacted to how others portrayed him on the internet, even when they were giving him attention he might otherwise have never had. The extra publicity doesn't hurt you, so just live with it not being what you want.
Petition to Delete this article Well, i think is better kill it than mutilate it, anyone here agree?
Hide / Show RepliesIf you wish. I'd at least wait till somebody posts a link to like the original before having thoughts about mercy killing this, but it's your guys prerogative.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I second that unlocked motion. What Fast Eddie fails to realize is that both this and the TRUE and HONEST Sonichu article was only negative against *Chris* and Chris alone; in fact, we were being negative to Chris *for fun*, you know, the whole reason TV Tropes exists in the first place? That and he should check out the CW Cwiki; if he did, he would understand that all the "negativity" was deserved.
Fast Eddie doesn't strike me as a man who'd listen to a reasonable argument, so I doubt it'll be unlocked any time soon. Go ahead with the deletion.
Who the negativity is against is irrelevant. This is a site for cataloguing tropes, not bashing devolved manchildren, and if the latter gets in the way of the former, it gets chopped.
If you want to bash Chris and his webcomic, there's a 'Reviews' button right at the top of the page.
What's precedent ever done for us?The problem is though, that it wasn't "bashing" him. A) This page, as opposed to the Sonichu page, made little to no reference to the real life Chris, and so locking it over that was idiotic. And B) Any of the two or three negative things that were said about Chris, or "Ian", were reffering to the comic character, who like the person he is based on, really is just that much of a prick. And those parts were removed. Ergo, locking this page was unnecessary. Now stop trying to justify this bullshit, because whatever your opinion on the locking and wiping of the Sonichu article may be, what happened to this article was completely unwarranted, and no sane person can deny that.
Iaculus, have you noticed this article was not even negative enough, what piss me so much is that we can't add new tropes, this article was just about the asperchu comic, why don't we just go berseker and mutilate the "My Inner Life" article or the whole darth wiki, i mean, they have "negativity" articles like those about the guys who made "Epic Movie" and "Meet the Spartans" are "bashing" real life people. Let's just become wikipedia, I am losing respect for you guys
Can somebody tell to those of us who hadn't read the pre-purge page, what else besides Chris (character or otherwise) negativity got purged?
And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!Being the one who had to purge the page myself, in order for FE to allow its existence, any and all references to Chris' real life had to be completely purged. If I had it my way, I would put Apserchu down as a Complete Monster and add "just like his real-life counterpart." I couldn't do that. I would have Take That! be "Asperchu is basically a comic telling us all exactly how much of a horrible person CWC is." I can't do that. Furthermore, some double asterisk comments may have been removed, because I had no idea what they were replying to (I could only browse the edit history.)
Edited by Chubert Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsThat's awful, I'd have had a sour taste in my mouth if I'd had to be the one to purge it. Oh well, does the previous article exist anywhere on the net? I'm trying to preserve these things, somewhere.
Edit: Nevermind, apparently it's still saved in its History. It's not working.
Asperchu is not a Complete Monster. It took him a while to cross the moral event horizon. Just pointing that out.
I think someone confused [[Adam Westing]] for [[Alternate Character Interpretation]]. Doesn't Adam Westing refer to the actor or creator's self-parody? Of course characters here do tend to be stand-ins for their real-life (or in some cases troll alter-ego) creators and/or inspirations, like Megagi for Megan and Jigliami for "Blanca," but I think that's a totally different trope.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but it will never come... I guess he got lazy. I mean, it isn't even a hiatus. Definitely Vapor Ware.
If somebody could please unlock the damn thing long enough to make the change: http://asperchu.thecomicseries.com/
Out eating the neighbors' tax forms, should be back soon.Does anyone else think Ian Brandon Anderson is a Captain Ersatz of Christopher Winnfield Vega?
Hide / Show RepliesHe's a balant Captain Ersatz of Christian Weston Chandler, the author of Sonichu or just the "character" Christian Weston Chandler from Sonichu

- Jerkass: Asperchu.
- The Leisure Suit Larry: Asperchu.
- The Ditz: Asperchu.
These need to be added.
Edited by SeanTuckerIf this gets unlocked, can someone put Giovanni's declaration of his attacks under Calling Your Attacks, rather than Camp Gay?
Hide / Show RepliesAnother request: Hypocritical Humor should be under there, as it was what the comic had attempted to invoke. There are also in-universe examples of Mind Screw, at the hands of Argentium
Edited by SoWeAteThem Out eating the neighbors' tax forms, should be back soon.We should probably add an entry for Lotus-Eater Machine, because of the events unfolding in Issue F. Also a reference about Bionic's resemblance to Cpt. Christopher Pike a la "The Menagerie".

To cut request:
Just because a page doesn't have edits (especially if it's locked) or talk page discussion when it's not a stub doesn't mean it's deletable. And just because a work is supposedly made to troll someone doesn't make it deletable either, as it has legit tropes outside of that related to a tropeable story, characters, and artstyle. I wouldn't call it trolling (or at least, not fully) either, it's more of a parody as the description says, and those are perfectly fine (like Third Rate Gamer). And it brought us 5000 inbounds. Any problems this page could have brought are likely nonexistent nowadays, due to the comic ending and CWC having different problems on her hands. Seriously, the lock should have been enough, maybe there should be a sandbox for improving this page as it is admittedly showing its age with poor examples or whatever. But definitely not deletion.
