Peace is the only battle worth waging.I thought people hated "Fight Song" for it being bland nothingness. How exactly does the reason that people hate "7 Years" compare to that?
Hide / Show RepliesSo, I think here I may as well use this spot to talk about including songs that missed the Top 20. Last year, there was Heartbeat Song and Marvin Gaye, two songs which peaked at #21 but were included in predictions before the year-end list came, at which point I added a bunch of other songs such as Ayo, Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh), Classic Man, and Night Changes, that made the Year-End list.
I also found this thread that tracks the Hot 100 and calculates how everything is going and what they think the predictions for the year-end list will be given what they have. By that logic, I came very close to putting Hide Away by Daya, which didn't make the Top 20 but has a chance for the year-end list, in the worst predictions, because if it makes the year-end it's a definite candidate for that.
So should tracks that don't make the Top 20 not be allowed at all before the year-end list? They've been allowed before (again, Heartbeat Song and Marvin Gaye) so I'm sure some would predict early that they might make the year-end list.
I've got an idea for a Todd WMG
