I'm interested in restructuring some of the Gravity Falls stuff in Unaligned. Maybe put Dipper and Mabel in the High Council?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.2 things.
1. Should we remove stuff from Star Wars that have been Legended with Episode 7 coming out?
2. The MCU is now beginning construction. Please help.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. Is anyone still working on this? I'd like to request splitting the scrooge from Mickey's Christmas Carol from the Scrooge of The Life And Times Of Scrooge Mc Duck. That scrooge I might also want to combine with the scrooge of the original Duck Tales too, since the idea is that of Scrooge finding his life again thanks to his grandnephews's influence. If nobody has any objections.....
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Ok people, we need to talk about revising both Marvel and Star Wars. Star Wars due to the reshuffling due to non-canonisity of most of the EU, and Marvel because really they're really more responsible for the Marvel Cinematic Universe than the Main Marvel universe these days. Thoughts?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. So, there's been some heavy debate among different circles on the level of evil the Enchantress of Beauty and the Beast has. Some say it has values dissonance on it, some say it was a super slap on the wrist, some say that the act of rejection is also a death wish, plot holes on why cogsworth didn't get the door, etc. Anyone want to open this up to discussion? Maybe moving the enchantress into unaligned but involved?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. Hide / Show RepliesI know The Enchantress is very controversial. Perhaps well intentioned extremist?
Hmm, but what does that say about her alignment? Do you think she's with the Friends, or just an unaligned spell caster?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. How have we gone this long and not mentioned Monsters Inc. under Sully? Have we just forgotten about the ending to that movie?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesGood call! I have Waternoose as working with the Friends, but I'll edit in Sully and Mike when I get the chance, unless someone else beats me to it.
What's another question? Whose side would Disney's version of Captain Nemo fit more on?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesOf 20000LeaguesUnderTheSea? Well, it's been awhile since I saw the movie, but I'd imagine he'd be more of a free agent, Chaotic Neutral as opposed to picking one side. I don't remember everything he did, nut he might fill the High Council better.
Don't worry about asking question, btw, it's no problem.
Edited by MichaelJJWell, he built a nuclear submarine for the sole purpose of attacking ships and making people think there was a killer narwhal on the loose, (Swear to God, I am not making this up.), but he does strike me as being a neutral character, similar to his fellow pirates Barbossa and Long John.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatAh, forgot about that. Yeah, he's definitly more in live with the Friends. I remember reading the book better, So...yeah. Thanks for adding it though, I feel this theory gets a little more complete with each entry.
He's also got a Tragic Backstory. I'd say the Friends tried to manipulate him into pure evil like they did with Frollo, but could never manage it entirely.
So would the Miramax properties be included here? Because I could totally imagine the High Council being interested in Jules Winnefield
Hide / Show RepliesWe still haven't worked that out yet; certainly not the least of the problems would be determining which Miramax movies are Disney-owned, and which came out before the purchase.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWell I know for a fact Pulp Fiction was under Disney, so we could add that at least.
Now that Disney sold Miramax, we're facing a problem. Does that retroactively make Miramax get out of the continuity, or not ? I'd love to include the Thief and the Cobbler, and not in the "Other" section, but Disney doesn't own it anymore…

The page mentions Winnie the Pooh and company preventing villains from entering Hundred Acre Wood by being such pure good magic, but then there ARE villains listed later from The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh like Crud and Nasty Jack. Should we say the good magic weakened, or just take out the "good magic" part and say that it just took longer for the friends to find Hundred Acre Wood, or what? Also, what should we say about mild villains like Sharpay from High School Musical or Ilsa from the hotel inspector episode of Suite Life of Zack and Cody?
Edited by 411314 the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesI say the good magic weakened and it took the Friends longer to find Hundred Acre Wood. Sharpay and Ilsa would be manipulated by the Friends like suckers.
Crud does not live in the Hundred Acre Wood.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DThe idea here is that the magic influences the agent the Friends send there and make them childish, as with Stan Woozle and Heff Heffalump. Should Chernabog visit there, he probably'd be transformed in a little imp wanting to play tricks.
I've been thinking of making a fanfic with this basic setting. I am not very experienced. The idea is that a couple of "Arther Dents" find there way into this dimention. One becomes an agent for the Friends, and the other becomes an agent for the Hight Council. Also, Mickey Mouse has gone missing. Can I get some advice on wether or not I should and the OCs, and if I can, avoid making them Marty Stus?
Hide / Show RepliesDon't do the OCs please. Replace them with Sora and Riku, that will be better.
No, Kingdom Hears is another setting — though it has its own dimension within our Disney multiverse.
The article implies that the Kingdom Hearts characters from Disney films are alternate copies of the movie characters. Is that really necessary? Why can't Kingdom Hearts be in the same continuity as the rest of this theory with dead villains simply being ressurected for the games (particularly since some villains killed in the first game are stated to be ressurected in the second game anyway)?
the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesYou are quite right, 411314. But in order for THAT theory to work, you're going to have to re-work why the heroes, sometimes the villains, and the worlds act like their original movie sets.
Plus, Epic Mickey and even stuff like Mickey Mania implies that multiples of characters exist anyways. Spector was even thinking of going as far as "multiples of characters that don't know what the others know because they came from different animation cels" levels of variations.
Speaking of Epic Mickey, is The Main Mickey the one who went into the Wasteland? Also, should we assume that Mickey chose the good option for all the bosses if that ever comes up as a topic? How much should we assume Epic Mickey takes place within High Council and Friends proceedings?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I think there should be some rethinking of Mickey and crew's places in general. They aren't a band of immortals the way I see it, more like a multiversal constant ala Marvel and DC superheroes. Start treating his adaptation roles like Musketeers, Pauper or Brave Little Tailor as Elseworlds like Kingdom Hearts with Mickey's "canon" adventures comprising of his comic adventures and animated roles that took on a more relatively contemporary setting.
I wrote them as immortals specifically to make sure there is less factors to deal with. This theory is already a pretty convoluted one, so I thought trying to streamline Mickey into one timeline would work. Still, I'm intrigued by your idea...what does everyone else think?
^Eric W: I think we should take the graphic novel's version of the boss events as canon. That is if anyone here has it.
I've also gotten more of a "Legend Of Zelda" style approach of a reincarnating cast of characters in mind. Mickey and pals do kinda fit a "Hero of Time" role pretty well.
Let's set things right for good; there are numerous else worlds in which only the Mickey of "Musketeers" or of "Pauper" exist, there's the pure canon comic strips universe with the main comic Mickey Mouse, and there's the main Disney comics and cartoons world, in which the Mickey is the "ultimate" one: the one who lived nearly all "his" adventures, both cartoons, comics and video games, and remember them. It's this Mickey that's destined to vain triumph of Chernabog one day.
The article says magic that DOESN'T come from the Friends is good, but does that really make sense given the magic items that are used for both good and bad within the course of their films (King Triton's trident being used for evil once Ursula got it but apparently used for good by King Triton before that, Mickey accidentily causing the broom fiasco once he got the sorceror's hat only for Yen Sid to fix it once he got it back, etc.)? Should we invent a third type of magic or say that the rule doesn't apply to magic items?
Edited by 411314 the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesI would say that unless the high council creates a person lock on their items, an enchanted item is just an item, and thus there is a magic that both friends and the council can use. Let's keep it as easy as possible.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. That's God Magic (http://disneywar.wikia.com/wiki/God_Magic), the magic from which Dark Magic, White Magic and Lawful Magic were created.
Some Disney productions actually reference Disney itself or its other films (one early episode of Gargoyles shows some of the characters watching Bambi for example, and the scene during the Cars credits where the cars are watching car versions of other Pixar films). Should we comment on this in the theory somehow, like say that in some Disney universes there are Disney studios that make films based on true stories from this war?
the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesSure, or maybe Zeus just likes messing with the space/multiverse continuum in order to make others aware of the dangers of the friends. Use your disgression to write some kind of inclusion into the concept, but just be careful how you word it so it doesn't take away from the normal part of the groups just fighting each other.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. This entry about how we fit "Roger Rabbit" should also solve that issue: http://disneywar.wikia.com/wiki/Toontown
So, it's a pretty big elephant in the room. Let's talk about how exactly the new ABC series Once Upon a Time fits in here.
Hide / Show RepliesI believe Once upon a time is an AU universe to the normal Disney universe where the Friends have greater control over the world considering the grimmer and more nasty nature over the villains and some heroes.
I also suppose that in this universe, the friends first manifested as the dark one, and realized that this was a universe where they could test alternate strategies against the main high council by corrupting all the heroes and villains through their dark deals. I suppose the Evil Counterparts in the Inner Circle would also be highly invested in this project, as it could give them Revenge by Proxy against their hated enemies. I suppose the enchantress could have helped Regina cast the spell that froze the town in time. You know this show well. You are free to add members of the friends or the high council anywhere you see fit.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Yes, it works like "Kingdom Hearts": another multiverse between the multiverse.
Okay, so I've already noticed a few topics mentioning Kingdom Hearts. If Kingdom Hearts was considered a part of this crossover, I would expect people like Xehanort and Vanitas would definitely be agents of the friends, and the Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed would be allied with them as well. People like Sora, Riku, and the like would likely be on some KH part of the High Council. If KH was added to the mix, would Final Fantasy characters from the games be considered? How about The World Ends with You?
Anything that can't go wrong can. Anything that can go wrong will. Anything that will go wrong already has, you just haven't noticed. Hide / Show RepliesI suppose we've tried to stay lazy and stick only to Sora, Xehanort and heartless to keep those other crossover figures in the background of this theory. We don't want to confuse readers two much with 2 entries for donald, goofy or other people. We do have entries for these though already. Just look around and make tweaks if you see fit.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. The Disney War Wiki (the wikia prolongement of this theory, check it up !) considers Kingdom Hearts to be an alternate multiverse within the main Disney multiverse. The main Friends and High Council are aware of their KH counterparts, but don't know exactly how to deal with them because magic in the KH world has its own set of rules, with the heart, the heartless and all that, that they simply don't understand. Chernabog, however, tries to manipulate his less-powerful KH counterpart.
So, when can we add Frozen Stuff. I mean, I'd love to start throwing that stuff in for good and for ill. =)
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. Hide / Show RepliesWhat should the Duke of Weselton's role be considering all the other characters have gotten entries here?
I'm actually thinking of something along the lines of "unaligned but uninvolved". He's not really evil kineval the same way Hans was, and don't the friends have a "one contact at a time per world" policy?
He could just be from a bordering kingdom that's highly distrusted by the council, but not interesting enough yet for the friends.
Either that, or he was their first agent in the world, but he was draining his homeland dry with the friends's support, and needed to exploit arendelle's resources in order to fulfill his debt to them. Kind of like Shan Yu. Whatever you think works better.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. With his compulsive fear of witchcraft, I don't see him making a willing deal with the Friends. He might be a less successful attempt at corrupting a character in the same way as Frollo, by making sure they still see themselves as virtuous even though they're in fact unwilling paws to the Friends.
I wonder what sort of role we should give to Maleficent considering the new live-action movie that came out recently. And what about roles for the Marvel Cinematic Universe characters?
Hide / Show RepliesFor the latter, we could make it a new universe, since the marvel universe we've been using is the main comic universe. For the former, we could either call that a propaganda film by the friends, or we could canonize it, but try and combine the 2 characters so as not to compromise the evilness of the maleficent of the inner circle.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I'd say we pull the card of "alternate universe": the Sleeping Beauty world and the Live-Action Maleficent world are two different dimensions which only happen to look very much alike.
So Big Hero 6 has been out for a while now. What roles should we give to the main superhero team and their big opponent in connection to the MCU?
Hide / Show RepliesWell, technically we're not using the marvel cinematic universe as part of this theory...yet. A lot of our stuff is actually based on the comics instead. Though, it's still possible to connect them. For the Friends, I'd say that Calligan would be their main agent, with the friends promising him a way to get his daughter back if he'd only work for them. Krey would be unaligned but involved, as a man interested in progressing technology, but not particularly interested in doing so for the good of all. And of course, the big hero 6 would be taken under the wing of The Incredibles for training and team efforts. Or, they could be adopted by The Avengers for missions. Whatever you think works.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Word of God has that "Big Hero 6" is not part of the Marvel cinematic universe or of any other Marvel world. It's officially only Disney. The cameos of Arendelle and Hans show it very clearly.
Does no one care about this theory anymore to edit new articles into it regularly? The Big Hero 6, movie Maleficent, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Wander over Yonder pages haven't been added yet, and they've already been active for quite some time now.
Edited by DisneyWarrior95 Hide / Show RepliesWell, part of the problem is that some of the other regulars haven't been in as much. Also, I've been busy with other projects, so I haven't contributed as much yet either. Also, some of these shows like Wander and Maleficent I haven't seen yet.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Alright people, Wreck It Ralph has been out for about half a month. Is ralph finally elligible to join the council?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. Hide / Show RepliesHe can definitely be working for them. Calhoun and Felix as well, no doubt. And Turbo seems likely to be working with the Friends, at least in a limited capacity. He doesn't have magic, but he definitely might have been pointed in the right direction by them.
I propose that elements of Star Wars should fit into this world, those shown in both Star Tours and Star Tours:the adventures continue. I mean, the struggle between the dark and light side fits perfectly into the idea of magic and the powers of hell. Darth Vader feels right at home as a friend from the other side (and he's shown in The Adventures continue) and yoda in the High council (also in the Adventures continue). for the original ride, the pilot of the ship Rex could be worked in somehow, as well as r2 and C3p0.
I don't think we should put all of star wars in here (although Tarkin and Palpatine would fit, as would force ghost obi-wan), but why not the elements of it at disneyland?
Hide / Show RepliesIRONY! You now have the legal ability to add it, on account of a certain recent purchase.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Would anyone be interested in helping to detail the cosmology for this, making something like the World Creation Project or Manual of the Planes but based on this theory, perhaps detailing how the worlds of the various Disney films are connected?
the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesThat would be cool, but man, the hours it would take.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Hey people, I've been watching Tron: Uprising, but there's still a question of its continuity within the greater Tron story. Should we refrain from adding any Uprising entries until continuity is sorted out?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I've added in Brave. Put the Royal Family in with the High Council, Mor'du with the Friends, and the with in unaffiliated but involved.
Hide / Show RepliesPersonally, I think that Elliot from Petes Dragon is another agent of the High Council. In the film, he travels throughout the world, helping children who needs him.
Every time a fairy says that it doesn't believe in humans, a human child dies. Hide / Show RepliesHey, did you know the first Starship Tropoers was a Disney production?

the world is so complicatedI answered. Are you still interested in my comments?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Just wanting to announce: I'm working with a couple of people on an RP board based off this brilliant idea. I'll let you know when it's open!

Is there any chance of Necroing this?
"Allow me to show you how a real whale does battle!"Hey, does anyone remember VMK? Where could that fit exactly?
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEI realize that it originated with Nickelodeon but is Doug part of this "Friends of the High Council" theory?
Hide / Show RepliesI don't think so, but we need confirmation.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I am interested in re-writing the Firebird's character. Can I do so?
A single phrase renders Christianity a delusional cult Hide / Show RepliesIf you can make it more epic, and still have it make sense in the context of The Firebird Suite and the rest of the theory, go ahead.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.Does the DIC dub for Sailor Moon count for this article since DIC was owned by Disney?
Hide / Show RepliesI suppose because it originated in Japan, seperate from the Disney corperation.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I'm curious. What is Chernabog's official opinion on anti-villains, well-intentioned extremists, knight templars and basically any mindset of a villain thinking they are good? Does he hate them?
Hide / Show RepliesWell, we know he loves Judge Frollo for these Knight Templar work. I think with Chernabog, it's a little less about motivation and more about action. Frollo's Knight Templar ways got him a judge to help Hades on his side, while lighter antiheroes like Aladdin became council warriors as they reformed their ways. So in a way, so long as there's suffering from these villains, Chernabog's all for them, but as soon as they start to drift away from his side (xanatos, Jack sparrow, Eugene and the like of heroes who at least oppose members of the friends side), he hates them.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. So he tolerates villains who think they are good, as long as they serve his agenda. Nice. But, if it didn't serve his agenda, would he declare villanious justification a blasphemy of the moral concept?
Potentially. Just remember that Chernabog is evil incarnate. Every selfish action, every act of violence to bring about discord, every piece of cake stolen, they're all of some benefit to the friends. So probably unless someone called themselves a villain in order to contrast with some Villain with Good Publicity, Chernabog wouldn't mind too much.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. Is everyone cool with adding Xehanort to the inner circle? He's been in there for a while, but since the main page does say No New Members to the circle, should we change this?
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I've been thinking of adding characters from Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension. Would they go in "other animated features" or "tv shows"?
Hide / Show RepliesPut it where Phineas and Ferb entries were before. I think that's in animated tv.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I just noticed a contradiction to part of this theory. If souls collected by the Friends go to the Underworld (as implied under Hades' entry), that would mean Chernabog owns the Underworld. But in Hercules, Hades says something like "I have a full time job that you bestowed upon me, Zues", which implies that Zeus owns the Underworld. How should we explain this in the theory?
Hide / Show RepliesI just came up with a good solution to this. It's a mix of Becoming the Mask and The Mole. See the main page for how this works.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping. This has happened twice already, so I want to let everyone know this.
As long as it's from a work that is owned by Disney, it's allowed here. We accept everything. That includes the Disney Channel sitcoms. Regardless on what your feelings on them are, they are Disney, they qualify. Please do not delete them.
Hide / Show RepliesIt happened again. Same IP. I put them back up, with a note not to delete them or to at least explain themselves.
Could we dump the Chernabog=Chronos angle? It's ignoring the whole factor that since Hercules already has a Crossover Cosmology to begin with that includes the Norse and Egyptian gods, why can't we just go with the "Ambitious Slavic Demon" angle?
As for Chronos, the Hercules show did use him, though he's an unseen Sealed Evil in a Can with an Artifact of Doom associated with him.
Hide / Show RepliesOkay then, I agree with you. So do you think you can edit all sections involving the Titans, Chernabog, Cronus, Hades, and Hercules?
What should we consider Scourge of the desert, Jasmine's evil persona from "Forget Me Lots", now that KH BBS has been released for a while?
The article mentions Beckett's reason for killing those people at the begining of the third movie being to pay off his debt and the Sanderson sisters having the same motive for sucking the lives out of those children. Does a person's soul become the Friends' property if they're killed by an agent of the Friends? Of course, that would seem to contradict the part about Mufasa being raised up to Olympus by the Council. Also, what does it mean about the pirates competing with the Friends for souls? How do the pirates claim souls?
the world is so complicated Hide / Show Repliesfor the pirate's part, I would say that we need to define what happens when someone unaffiliated with either Friends or High Council dies. If we can clarify that, we can figure out just what Pirates stand for. (idea: a purgatory no claim state? Calypso gets her own stuff through DJ?)
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I figured it was like the usual pop culture view of Heaven and Hell, with an afterlife to reward good people (in this case, Mount Olympus) and one to punish evil people, regardless of weather they were affiliated with either side (High Council and Friends agents are simply trying to ensure the spread of goodness and thus more souls going to Olympus or the spread of evil and thus more souls being punished, respectively, with most Council agents being basically good people who'd go to Olympus anyway and and most clients of the Friends being evil people who'd be punished in the afterlife anyway). Of course, that would leave where a few characters (especially Jack Sparrow) went in question, but most are pretty clear cut.
the world is so complicatedThe Percy Jackson series and it's spin-off are published by Disney/Hyperion. Would it be OK to add the series' characters to theory?
Hide / Show RepliesI wouldn't be too sure. Seems to be more of an "owned by the author" and only distributed by Disney sorta thing judging from the movie being made by Fox.
I notice the part about Hades says souls claimed by the High Council go to Olympus instead of the Underworld. Acording to this theory, what's the reason Meg went to the Underworld in the movie? Is it because she worked for Hades and her sacrifice to save him towards the end was too little, too late? Is it because she sold her soul to Hades to save her old boyfriend (I think Hades mentioned something about that in the movie)?
the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesI think it was a technicality involving the Fates and Hades's ownership over Meg's soul. He could have lied to her about granting her freedom after that, and only freed her from the smoke chains. Perhaps since she was in greece, and the fates were with Hades, they sent her soul to the underworld. make something up, this is an open ended theory.
Lord Eric Wu, Grandmaster of the order of Troping.I'm having a very specific technical problem with the wikia I've started. Does anyone know more then the basics of how wikia works? If so, please read about my problem and post an answer at http://disneywar.wikia.com/index.php?title=Forum:Having_trouble_duplicating_template_that_wikipedia_and_wookiepedia_both_use&t=20101227053231.
the world is so complicatedWhat would everyone say to try and fit the events of Mulan II into this article?
Hide / Show RepliesMaybe Mushu was manipulated by the Friends and Shan-Yu as a way to get rid of Mulan and Shang.
I've created a wiki for this theory where we can expand on the theory, going into more detail even then this article does and summarizing entire movies with the roles of the Council and Friends added. It's called Disney War Record. Feel free to edit it, though please try to keep the information there fairly consistent with the information written here, albeit stated differently, and also feel free to add stuff that is niether said, implied nor contradicted by this WMG page.
Edited by 411314 the world is so complicatedGot a crazy idea here, but suppose we can use the Cartoon Wasteland of Epic Mickey as a device to link unmade Disney projects, both cinematic and theme parks (I'm thinking Beastly Kingdom, My Peoples, the attempts at Don Quixote, and some other stuff here), into the WM Ging? Could be part of the whole "worlds yet to be linked" thing like that the wasteland is connected to the origin of all Disney worlds, though I have something else in mind as the Disney world's source.
Hide / Show RepliesFinally got to putting the Dreaming Tree on there. It's an idea I've had for a while for my own little Disney cosmology overthink and I think it works great for this.
Here is one: Inspector Gadget. Do yout think he should go here?
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DFigment Jedi keeps on deleting my SATAM examples. It was made by DIC, which used to by Disney property.
Edited by miru I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DWe removed most of the Power Rangers examples after Disney lost the rights, leaving only the ones created under the Disney reign. Sat AM doesn't fit. It was created and finished before DIC was bought. It's an awesome series, but it doesn't fit here.
Edited by MichaelJJHowever, Disney did make a live-action Inspector Gadget movie, though I'm not sure how it could be worked into this theory. Maybe the Council supplied Brenda's father with the idea and/or technology for the Gadget project, and perhaps Claw a.k.a Scolex was able to make Scolex Industries through the Friends' influence in the business sector?
the world is so complicatedA little something I drew out of Doom's Looney Tune Land mission, plus various /co/-based Grand Unifying Guesses, but I kinda want to start brainstorming a WB cartoons and comics based counterpart to this whole shebang with Aku as Chernabog's counterpart. On it's own page of course, though it'd be nice to brainstorm a bit for it first.
Hide / Show RepliesHeh, that would be interesting. I know Baron Ruber would be one of his minions. And that's where the DC heroes can come in, much like Disney and Marvel!
I had been idly thinking about a Fox one too. Hexxus would probably be the big bad there, with Rasputin as one of his minions. Dreamworks, I'm not sure it would have enough players yet to make a good theory, but I would probably go with the Green Death as their Chernabog.
Not sure if Fox has enough material for their own one of these.
Also, a Nintendo one would be an obvious one to do as well. Tabuu or Master Hand as Chernabog
I love the ideas. If they're started, I'll contribute to them.
It has to be Tabuu on the Nintendo one. He did overpower the Master Hand, after all.
Yeah, probably not enough for a Fox animation one on its own, but Fox as a whole? Maybe one day.
The Nintendo/WB ones should be a lot of fun. I don't know how much I'll be able to add for the Nintendo one, but the WB one? I'll be all over the DC heroes and villains.
The WB has the entire Cartoon Network library. Considering it's the rival of Disney, that seems like a good place to start.
Just right off the bat, we'll get some serious mileage out of Ben 10, Foster's, Codename KND, the DCU heroes, and likely some of the villains from Courage the Cowardly Dog. Those who have watched more will undoubtedly know more.
Also Captain Planet, the occasional "real" villains within Scooby Doo, plus we'd have access to MGM's library of material, which would include Phantom Tollbooth and some Seuss stuff
Oh yeah. For Kids Next Door, We have to have Father as one of Aku's Inner Circle, with Mr Boss, Grandma Stuffum...there's a whole lot there. The Dessert Monks could work for the good guys. And Courage...Katz definitly, Complete Monster he is, with LeQuack and the Queen of the Black Puddle definitly, maybe the one shot Big Bayou. Shirley as a good guy.
BTW, who are the High Council's alternates going to be?
EDIT: Oh, and Him from The Powerpuff Girls in the Inner Circle. He would so fit. And KND also gives us the Galactic Kids Next Door as High Council material.
Edited by MichaelJJHigh Council counterpart is led by the trio that fought Aku in the first place: Odin, Rama and Ra.
The Justice League, with some added characters? I could see the core members of the JL, plus Captain Planet for sure. Maybe Madame Foster, since she definitely knows all about strange beings and supernatural forces. Like the High Council, we can have it as an eclectic group, with the Justice League (or maybe the Green Lantern Corps) as the center, much like the Gods.
Edit: The Samurai Jack trio are a good idea too. If Aku's the Big Bad, it makes sense.
I'll think on it and be back tomorrow.

Rather then staying centered on Nintendo: How about you open it up to the entire video game universe?
Oh, and the Music Meister is so definetly a joke client for the WB friends. It makes too much sense.
Oh, yeah. Voldemort would probably be the Maleficent of Aku's inner circle. I could see the inner circle consisting of Aku, Voldemort, Lex Luthor, Ra's Al Ghul, Katz, Dr. Animo, and a few others.
Hm...I wonder what side Brain would be on? He wants to take over the world, of course, but he doesn't really seem evil.
We need some ideas for a title for this new version.
Also, why Animo over Vilgax?
That was just my first thought. I don't really watch Ben 10, so I'll leave that one to the more well-versed.
Also, figured that the villain side of things would be Masters for the Friends (tied into Aku's title as Master of Masters) and the Legion of Doom for the inner circle/agents listings.
EDIT: Also, as far as a Dreamworks edition would go, I'd say have Eris from that Sinbad movie as the Chernabog counterpart.
Edited by FigmentJediBrain would definitly be a good guy. The entire reason he wants to Take Over the World is to make it a better place.
Yeah, it could be like with all the mad scientists the High Council employs - they're helping them direct their crazy smarts towards good, so they don't wind up causing trouble.
Brain strikes me more as an "on-his-own" sort of guy. He's trying to take over the world without assitance. Yet, the Friends and High Council are constantly trying to persaude him to join them, as his skills would turn the tables for either side.
In that case, would the Transformers fit into the Friend/High Council idea? I have reason to believe that Unicron is Chernabog's Nobody cause Chernabog is always emotional and Unicron is always calm and emotionless. So Chernabog is the Heartless and Unicron the nobody.
That's just silly. Unicron's just another member of Chernabog's "poker club".
Okay, so Unicron isn't Chernabog's nobody. But do the Transformers still fit in to the High Counci/Friends idea?
EDIT: HELLOOOOOO?? Is anyone noticing this discussion?
Edited by DisneyWarrior95You know what, forget the transformers. How about the Grand Duke of Owls and Captain Hook from "Hook"?
What was with integrating some of these guys right into the Other Worlds section? I thought we were divising new pages for the extended war all together.
Well, nothing ever came of those...at least, nothing I'm aware of. Are people still working on them?
I think the thing that hindered some of it was we didn't ever come up with terms for the Friends and High Council's counterparts. And I think a lot of this just works better with Disney/Pixar anyways, seeing as the company's full of injokes, nods and theme parks as linking material, while you don't quite get that same sense of interconnectedness with the works of other companies. You get some things like it occasionally, like the old Cartoon Network City/Fridays concept and Fusion Fall, or that Looney Tunes/Justice League crossover, but it's not like you ever see any Dreamworks movie ever making Pixar style nods to it's past works in anything or anything in Fox interacting outside the S Impsons making jokes at Seth Mc Farlane's expense or visa-versa.
Dumbledore would make a great member of WB's High Council equivalent! If we decide that a battle like this is taking place in the Fox multiverse, Fox's equivalent of the Friends should be called "The Dark Forces", since that's who Rasputin said he got his powers from in Anastasia and Facilier's sort of a Disney counterpart to Rasputin (what with both having made deals with evil forces to get magic items and otherworldly helpers, and both dying as a result of those magic items being destroyed).
Edited by 411314 the world is so complicatedI'm thinking of adding Nos-4-A2 and the Wirewolf to this article. Would they be considered powerful Friends or demon agents possessing robotic shells?
Hide / Show RepliesIf I remember right, Wirewolf was a mutated Star Command agent, while NOS-4-A2 was a creation of Zurg. The latter could have Friend energy powering it, but the former would just be a puppet to the Friends.
In that case, what would you classify XL, Gravitina, and Warp Darkmatter as?
Yeah, I'm here, don't get impatient if I don't answer right away.
XL was a prototype of XR who went berserk, I doubt he'd have anny connection to the Friends. I don't know enough about Gravitina. And Warp worked directly under Zurg, so he could have been enhanced.
I really don't know this show well. Try finding someone who does.
Edited by 75.27.188.201Gravatina could have gotten her telekinetic powers from the Friends.

the world is so complicatedAnyone else think Aslan should be on the High Council?
the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesI think so, but one thing. Could you list all of the disney villains who have been told by Chernabog, "You Have Failed Me"?
Well, almost all the villains lose in the end. Does that mean they all failed Chernabog? I'm not sure if I understand your question.
the world is so complicatedI meant all the villains that have been soul-collected and stayed that way.
Are all the ones who die soul-collected?
the world is so complicatedPretty much except for those who ascended to the Inner Circle, so could you please say that list now?
How am I supposed to list ALL Disney villains who failed but didn't reach the Inner Circle? It's not like I've seen everything the company or one of its subsidiaries has ever made. As of this writing, there's 50 "animated canon" films, plus several direct-to-video films, plus dozens each of Alice Comedies, Oswald The Lucky Rabbit cartoons,Silly Symphonies and cartoons about Mickey Mouse and company, plus at least dozens of live action films, plus 11 pixar films and the shorts before each one, plus God knows how many Disney channel shows of which some may each have several different villains. And that's not including all the villains Marvel has invented over the years (which could take up an entire massive website all by itself) and all the ABC shows, Miramax films, Touchstone films, Disney Power Rangers series, Disney Muppet films, theme park attractions, Hyperion books, and possibly a lot of other stuff I don't know about. I don't mean to sound insulting, but even I don't have that much time on my hands because, frankly, I have a life. And if I did attempt to watch, read, or research enough to give you a complete list, you might die of natural causes before I finished.
Edited by 411314 the world is so complicatedWait, you meant all the failed non-Inner Circle villains in the article? That's entirely different! I thought you meant all the ones in anything ever made by Disney or one of its subsidiaries. My apologies.
the world is so complicatedThere are a few of these that aren't well explained. For instance, if Doris took over all those people in Meet The Robinsons to give their souls to the Friends, what was she hoping the Friends would give her in return? And in what ways was the High Council working with General Li Shang in Mulan? How did the Friends try to help Reed Thimple in Country Bears? If whoever wrote those is reading this, could you please clarify these things? Or does someone else here understand better then I do?
Edited by 411314 the world is so complicated Hide / Show RepliesDoris was hoping the Friends would give her ultimate power and upgrade her into a form similar to that of Megatron, the Fallen, and Blackarachnia combined.
A lot of those villains desire power and wealth, which the Friends can provide. And in Doris' case perhaps, the resources to build those monstrously huge machines.
Ok, so I've studied American literature during my college days, and I find it a bit unsettling that you call the "headless horseman" a tool of evil. If you ever bother to actually watch the short (or better yet, read the novel), you would be well aware of the fact that Brom Bones (and by extension the Headless Horseman) is the hero, despite being the antagonist of the story.
Let us discuss the facts: 1.) Brom is loved by the townsfolk before Ichabod is mentioned. In the Disney short we can see him having a jovial time with his friends, and the narrator describes him as a kind-hearted mischief maker and a "hero"
2.)The farm that Katrina is in line for inheritance is the major source of income for the town, implying that without it, the town would go into ruin. The show makes it quite clear that Ichabod wants to sell off the farm to make it quick.
3.) Brom Bones, a man loved by the community, marries Katrina in the end. We are never told in the narrative, but things seem to be a happy ending. We also see he is a skilled horseman from the beginning of the short, and since the infamous road is so well-traveled, he can masquerade as a headless horseman and let the horse ride the familiar path.
The real kicker is that in the short story, we see things through Ichabod's point of view, so the pumpkin is never revealed until the end. We believe for the whole time that its actually a head, until the next day when a smashed pumpkin is found on the side of the road. Brom Bones is said to have said that he had no idea what happened, but had a knowing gleam in his eye. when people brought up the subject of what happened that night
So why, I ask you, is HE the villain associated with the friends?
Hide / Show RepliesRead the entry again. It provides ways either theory could be true. Also, a "hero" wouldn't terrify a man out of his wits and drive him out of town, just to get a rival out of the way. That's something a villain would do.
Edited by 76.112.210.19Well, the Headless Horseman has been associated with villains in other Disney material, including House Of Mouse. Remember, we go by the Disney version, which is not the official version. In this canon, when I wrote the original entry, the Horseman wasn't involved with Brom, he's a villain. I know Ichabod ain't exactly a hero, but I don't think the Horseman is either.
EDIT: Also, Ichabod may have been a jerk, but I'd hardly think he'd make a deal with the devil over it. He's a jerk, yeah, but evil is pushing it.
Edited by MichaelJJIchabod and Brom were both sort of jerks, from what we saw, but neither of them seemed really evil. I could see the Friends watching the conflict and trying to manipulate one or both of them into making a deal or hurting the other, to take advantage of the situation.
I lean towards Brom making the deal to turn into the Horseman, but not being able to go through with killing Ichabod (Ichabod left town, as rumored). Whether Brom was able to pay off his debt another way, well, that's a mystery...
Or maybe when Brom became the Headless Horsemen, he no longer had control of his actions, like the Friends controlled him or an evil being that WAS willing to kill possesed him. As for the post that started this conversation, the fact that Ichabod is a jerk doesn't mean that Brom is a good person either. It's implied that he was the Horsemen in disguise and might have killed Ichabod in that disguise. However immoral Ichabod might have been, murdering him was still wrong. So if the Headless Horsemen really murdered or even tried to murder Ichabod, then yes, the Horsemen IS a villain. And if it was Brom murdering Ichabod while disguised as the Horsemen, then Brom is a villain. A villain who's victim we don't feel very sorry for (and some might even say deserved it), but a villain nonetheless.
the world is so complicatedExcuse me, but where do Orddu, Orgoch, and Orwen fit into this theory? And what about the Creeper and the Horned King's living soldiers?
Hide / Show RepliesHorned King's soldiers? Just saps. He harvested them with the Cauldronborn anyways, so no humans will trust him again.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'd say the witches would be in the neutral category. Should probably move the Lonesome Ghosts into Neutral as well.
Is it just me, or should Vanitus be considered a friend on the other side and be combined with Chernabog?

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show Repliesi believe the redemption squad would be a part of the high council under tv animation.
But the Redemption Squad first appeared in the comics, so you can understand how confused I am.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Greatexcuse me, what woud you consider the 1920's black and white cartoons, "hell's bells" and "haunted house" to be in this wmg?
Hide / Show RepliesWell, Hell's Bells is listed as a film which allegedly shows how Chernabog got his power, so yes, yes they are.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'd say that the Imagination Institute is WAY more likely to be Friends-associated than Council-associated.
Hide / Show RepliesDr Nigel Channing doesn't seem to be the sinister sort. He's just some rube the Friends played as a chump. Besides, Figment turned around Channing's thinking in the ride, that could put him on a general path to redemption
And besides, the Institute employs Dr Szalinsky, Brainard and Merlin Jones.
Edited by FigmentJediIt Just Bugs Me! that everyone seems to assume Doctor Channing is somehow evil simply because he's NOT DREAMFINDER. People saying he's 'stupid' for the same reason might be even worse - he's a genius, he's just kind of scatterbrained (an Absent-Minded Professor...speaking of Brainard, eh?). That and the similar 'OMG THE IMAGINATION INSTITUTE IS BADDDD!!!!!!111ONE' opinion make my heart break a little. As do all the fanfics that say they murdered DF. WTF?
...sorry for the rant... :/
~PirkaJust for the record, you may discuss Birth By Sleep now. Just don't expect me to read it, there's no way I'll finish it by the deadline with my limited free time.
Hide / Show RepliesSo, ignoring my comments above about the game, what does everyone else besides Michael JJ suggest about Terra, Ven, Aqua, Xehanort, Eraqus, and Van, and their connection to the High Council and Friends.
I don't know, but I have gotten the idea that the KH-verse Chernabog was responsible for the Keyblade War and had a hand in fueling Xehanort's fascination with the subject.
Well, today is October 7 and you can edit Xehanort's entry and add in Vanitus to the Friends for all I care!
Watched the premiere of No Ordinary Family. There's definite potential there, but it seems to be a slow burn mystery with a focus on the family stuff, so it'll probably be a while before I add anything, until we know a little bit more about the powers and the bad guys.
I've just reorganized the very foundation of the friends into the Ultima Friends, with Chernabog, Aku, and Unicron leading, the major Friends, with the Titans and Jabberwocky, and minor Friends like It, Him, and all the others. Arch-Demons still remain in their place, as do Dark Masters with the Inner Circle.
Hide / Show RepliesI still wouldn't be so hasty to bring in the crossover stuff this way. Different multiverses with different rules and differing primary goals and all, with Chernabog's "poker club" only occasionally meeting in some dark Inn Between the Worlds to discuss current affairs.
There's one villain I think might fit, but sadly it's not QUITE Disney. However, the writers AND the director AND the special effects people later went on to become major parts of Disney. I think that the villain would make a much more definitive villain for the Muppets. Too far off?
I'm feeling strangely happy now, contented and serene. Oh don't you see, finally I'll be, somewhere that's green... Hide / Show RepliesI think he wants to put Jareth or the Skeks in there.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatExcept Disney only owns The Muppets and Bear and the Big Blue house. They got none of the Creature Shop material or franchises like Fraggle Rock.
Stop me if you've heard this one, but what if Kazaam were in here? Sure, his movie was ass, but he still counts. Right?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesIf you say so, I'll try to make him not as annoying.
EDIT from THE FUTURE!: I decided to minimize the rapping part, made it just something he likes to do on the side of guarding the kid. Writing his entry, I also decided to tie it in with how Mozenrath is known as a "genie hunter", which both explains a bit why Kazaam was so cynical about the stories about genies ad djinn, and kind takes a little of the leather pants off of Mozenrath, or puts more on, depending on whether you think he should have killed Kazaam after all.
Edited by maxwellelvis Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThe cyclops from Hercules does not really feel like he should be a Friend. I think Bob from space mountain should replace him.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2D Hide / Show RepliesHe was in the vault with the other Titans, wasn't he?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIndeed, he was. He begins to leave with the rest of the Titans before Hades stopped him.
I've kinda questioned how the Titans would fall under the idea of Friends being unable to fully interact with the world, seeing as their prison was just a lightning cage on the seabed of the Mediterranean.
I thought we established thar Zues sealed them away harder after the events of the movie. But since we're already having this topic of discussion, if we eliminate the Titans, who will the other five Friends be?
We're already counting the Firebird. That leaves four. If we come up with four more, we'll vote on wether to promote them and bump the Titans down to agents.
The only name that comes to mind is Oogie Boogie. Powerful, supernatural, and keeps to himself. But I have a hard time thinking of anyone powerful enough to really be on a par with Chernabog and the firebird. Besides the Jabberwock, of course. I say keep the Titans.
I'd say we venture to split the Epic Mickey incarnation of the Blot from the pre-existing version and make the new inky Eldritch Abomination one of the main Friends. With Wasteland being treated as an origin zone and purgatory for Disney media, it would have a similar chaotic nature to Wonderland, so the new Blot would fit naturally into that whole concept behind the Friends.
Also would make things rather dramatic with Mickey knowing he created one of the greatest enemies of the war.
That's interesting. Once Epic Mickey comes out, we'll know more, but I would consider it.
Got a lot of new info to work with from Nintendo Power. Not just for the Blot and Mad Doctor, but I think that "Four Needs of a Cartoon" could be worked into the WMG in general.
Excuse me, I just put in Paddywhack from Darkwing Duck as one of the Friends on the other side. Can you change it for me?
Stop me if you've heard this one, but what if Kazaam were in here? Sure, his movie was ass, but he still counts. Right?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWhat about the Ghostbusters, Ivo Shandor, Gozer, and the terror dogs? Where do they fit in with this theory, even if they are not from Disney?
Hide / Show RepliesNowhere. Real Ghostbusters was syndicated on Jetix UK, so it doesn't count. Besides, it's owned by Columbia. It won't happen on this RP.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThat;s not what I meant. I'm referring to the theory above with other worlds besides Disney having a Friends/High Council dilemna of their own. Therefore, since the Ghostbusters and their ghost enemies are from other worlds, how would they fit in?
We already dumped that; it started getting way out of hand. Now it has to be made by Disney, or it's not on the list. Sorry.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWell, since everyone is SO touchy about putting only Disney stuff in the WMG, I decided to make my OWN WMG page. It's called Other Friends On The Other Side, but it hasn't really been started yet. Basically, in this WMG, you can put all the non-disney stuff here if you like, but it has to at least apply to the original WMG in tearms of continuity. BTW, were is the toontown entry anyway?
I'm thinking of adding Lumpjaw from Bongo. Where do you suppose would he be working with, and what could be his deal with them?
Hide / Show RepliesOn another note, I would like to add Mirage, Mekanicles, and Scourge of the Desert. Scourge is Jasmine's unversed made from the blue flower of forgetfulness and Abis Mal's hatred for Aladdin. I would like to also add that Scourge and Vanitus are dating. ^^!
Okay, no unversed stuff. But still, could you please put in Lumpjaw, Mirage, Mekanicles, and Abis Mal in there somewhere, please?
The Aladdin TV series is another I missed when it was on. Now I regret it, since Aladdin has become my favorite DAC movie. I've only seen episodes with Abis Mal, who from what I can tell was pretty incompatent. Maybe he could be like Doofenshmirtz and Brer Fox, wanting to be a client but never getting it.
As for Lumpjaw, he seemed more of a bully than anything else. I can't imagine what the Friends would want with him, but I can't imagine him being selfless enough to work with the High Council.
Okay, we've already got in Doris. But what about the Bowler Hat Guy? He seems like a pretty good villain to join the Friends.
EDIT: Or for that matter, what about Jasmine as Scourge of the Desert? Scourge lookes pretty good to be Jafar's afterlife wife.
Edited by DisneyWarrior95BHG was more of a pawn and nobody the Friends really saw as genuine client material, like Doofensmirtz
Hey Michael JJ, just because the other worlds theory is canned, doesn't mean I have one last suggestion to make. The Yowie Yahoo from [1] and the Legend of the Vampire looks like a ripoff of Chernabog and has a lot of dark powers. So, I think that the real Yowie Yahoo is really a powerful WB Friend on the Other Side.
Hey guys, I just added Abis Mal, Man, and Lumpjaw to the Friends. Take a look at their entries and see if you can fix them up a bit.
Hide / Show RepliesDoes Jimmy Two Shoes count? It's on Disney XD, so I figure it might, but I'd like some feedback.
Hide / Show RepliesDoesn't count. It's right there on the No-Fly zone at the top of the rules
It takes more than that; it must also be produced by Disney. That show was produced by Nelvana, so no.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWell then, what about Digimon? Does that count? If it does, we'll have a field day with the Seven Demon lord digimon.
Nope. Digimon is Disney-distributed, not Disney owned. If Disney dropped it, they'd simply need to find a new American distributor.
Because Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep has already been released in Japan, can we please discuss how Xehanort, Vanitus, and the keybearers all figure into the story by way of spoiler boxes? Oh, and whoever doesn't want to read this discussion for fear of spoilage, please leave now.
Hide / Show RepliesAnd now for something completely different. I would like to add Nasty Jack, the horse thief from Pooh episode "Paw and Order". What category should he be in?
Just put it in spoiler tags and it will be good.
And the television section of the Friends, I suppose.
How do I put my spoilers in spoiler tags anyway? And where do the Skekses and Jareth fit in with this theory, despite their non-Disney status?
[[spoiler: at the beginning, then bracket them off at the end.
Are Skekses and Jareth Square Enix characters who appear in BBS? If so, they can go in.
No, the skeksis are from the Dark Crystal and Jareth is from Labryinth. Both are Jim Henson films not from Disney.
Anyway, Master Xehanort was formerly a powerful keyblade master who realized the light side was getting too big for its own good. So he decided to have Jumping Off the Slippery Slope apply to him and he joined forces with the Friends. His dark keyblade skills and possession were in part with Chernabog's magic Also, my theory on why Vanitus looks exactly like Sora is because the Friends sampled a bit of the little boy's D.N.A and combined it with the recently extracted darkness of Ven's heart. Therefore, Vanitus is the combined prodigy of Sora AND Ventus. Pretty interesting theories, don't you think?
...It's on my "To Watch" list, I swear.
And I'll check out the theory once I play the game.
Indiana Jones and Star Wars are in the Other Worlds section because they have Disney attractions based on them, so they're somewhat related.
Now, if we want to use the Other World section to introduce the concept of the other universes having parallels to Chernabog, we can, but things like Aku and Unicron don't really fit with this WMG as that section was originally designed. What do people think?
Hide / Show RepliesActually, I think I'll support the cutting of the Other Worlds section. Bgal has a point, it just opens the door for too much.
Still, I'd be up to making more pages like this for things like CN and others, if only to keep them off this page.
Yeah, it's a shame, but it adds too many wild cards to the equation.
No, he's more one of Chernabog's old buddies, like Aku, Unicron, and Him. A being of supreme evil, dedicated to the destruction of everything good and decent.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'm quite curious as to what side the Organization XIII is on. Are they Friend dealers or are they morally ambiguous High Council agents?
Hide / Show RepliesProbably a second evil faction that just uses some of the Friends' workforces
Yeah, they strike me as Associates. They're aligned with the Friends, but have no formal deals with them. They're in a mutual partnership with the Friends.
I can't believe it honestly took this long for us to remember them. What were we thinking?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIn that case, I just added the Jungle Cubs vultures as well as Stan and Heff from the New adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Do you remember any of these baddies?
Our newest movie, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, provides plenty, as millieniumrex predicted:
Merlin, Blake, Veronica, and David are all obvious candidates, the only question is whether this Merlin is The Sword In The Stone Merlin or another one. Becky and maybe Oliver couls have a support role
Morgana is big, maybe Inner Circle big. All of her followers means she definitly up there. What do you think, the Circle gets one more?
BTW, sign up for the role play! We can't do it with three people.
Hide / Show RepliesWow, that was quick! I probably won't get to see it for a few days.
She definitely seems like she could fit in there, from what I hear. The Live Action world doesn't have any representatives there yet. Maybe she takes the seat that was going to be Davy Jones' before he fell from grace? I'll think more about it after I see it.
Maybe put in something like Chernabog is monitoring the world very closely considering he's in the plans for a possible sequel?
Edited by FigmentJediFinally got to see it.
Morgana seems pretty powerful, but I don't know if she's Inner Circle material, since she had such a small role. Why don't we make her like Solego - she was in line for the Inner Circle, but she lost that position when she was sealed away. Chernabog still keeps her around as a dark master after her death. Horvath is also one of Chernabog's agents. As for the hero, I say we make them the same Merlin. The events of this movie happened after Sword in the Stone, and after his death Merlin was brought up to the High Council where he serves to this day. Balthazar and Veronica are high-ranking Lieutenants of the High Council, maybe the heads of a new magical combat division we could add. And Dave's a new recruit. It fits pretty well.

Hey, I just added Calypso, Si and Am, the old hag form of the queen, and of course Riku to the mix. Can somebody edit them further to make them fit with the rest of this page?
So I'm thinking of tying in the return of the Captain EO movie into his profile. I think we should try to distance the character from the guy who played him. What do you guys think?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesJust so we're clear, I wrote that entry. I just figured, since the attraction is back for now, EO could come back in our little story. Just because he's played by Michael Jackson, it doesn't mean their lives should be combined. That would be tasteless.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWhy is the Firebird a neutral??? I always think of him as a Friend, more specifically, Chernabog's 2nd in command.
Hide / Show RepliesBecause he's portrayed more as a force of nature than anything else. Destructive, but not malicious.
Well, that "destructive, but not malicious" comment is a load of bull in my opinion. Millenniumrex, I humbly demand that the Firebird be placed in the Friends section, please.
It's not really him you should be asking, I'm the one who started this. I don't think the Firebird should be a "Friend" Friend, since he can leave the Other Side outside Wonderland, but a powerful agent for them would work better, The Dragon, if you will. I agree he should be moved out of neutral, though.
Edited by MichaelJJIf only the Firebird was in more than a Fantasia segment; then we would be more able to determine where it really belongs.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIt clearly wanted to kill the Spring Sprite and Disney considers him a villain what with his World of Color appearance right alongside Chernabog. I'd say he's a pretty firm member of the Friends
Edited by FigmentJediIf Disney uses him as a villain in a spin-off, we'll consider him a villain, like we did with the Headless Horseman. He stays a member of the Friends.
Did this wiki really need another Buffy link? This is ridiculously unnecessary. Or is that the joke?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'm going to a midnight screening of Toy Story 3 tonight. I'll post my ideas on alignments when I get back.
Hide / Show RepliesWhile we're on the subject, here's Disney's current release calender for 2010 as I understand it:
- Darkwing Duck (
4-issueOngoing comic series): Currently in stores. - 16 Wishes (Disney Channel original movie): June 25
- The Sorcerer's Apprentice: July 14
- Den Brother (Disney Channel original movie): Summer 2010 (exact date unknown)
- Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam: September 3
- Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep: September 7
- Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue: September 21
- No Ordinary Family: Fall Season
- Secretariat: October 8th
- Tron: Evolution: November 1
- Tangled: November 24
- Tron: Legacy: December 15
- Epic Mickey: Winter 2010 (exact date unknown)
- Avalon High (Disney Channel original movie): 2010 (exact date unknown)
Anything I missed?
Edited by MichaelJJLooks good. I think we'll get a lot out of Sorcerer's Apprentice, Toy Story 3, Birth By Sleep, Tangled, Tron: Legacy, Epic Mickey, and maybe Avalon High.
What is Tron: Evolution?
There's also Secretariat, but we won't get anything out of that one.
On TV, there's No Ordinary Family. It's produced by ABC Studios and going to air on ABC, so it can definitely be added. Looks a little like The Incredibles.
Edited by millenniumrexTron: Evolution is a video game tie-in for Legacy.
And I'll be sure to add what you suggested. Even if we can't get anything out of it, someone else might. As usual, helping with red links is appreciated.
Edited by MichaelJJI've just read the first Darkwing Duck issue. It makes no sense for DW to quit being a superhero just because his one city has been cleaned when he has several worlds that need his help. To justify Darkwing's retirement, we can say that the event made him question his usefulness in a army of magicians and other extraordinary members, leading to a 10-Minute Retirement.
Edited by MichaelJJAlright, back from the new Toy Story.
Lotso could easily be a pawn of the Friends who love to make sure good toys suffer. After being replaced by his owner, they led him to Sunnyside, where he implimented his cruel system. Only toys ruthless enough to get ahead would enjoy the Butterfly Room, while and good and kind souls suffer in the Catepillar Room. This might be why Bookworm had so many instruction manuals, gifts from the Friends. Ken and Barbie could now be hired by the High Council to make sure that nothing like Lotso happens again. They could have implimented this at daycares everywhere to stop the Friends from gaining another foothold.
As for the newest of the Pixar Shorts: Well, I think anything here would be pushing it, but they could have some connection to the High Council, just making sure nature works right. Maybe work with the Spring Sprite?
Re: Toy Story That could make sense WRT Lotso. Since toys are low-level agents of good, daycares are simply one more tool the High Council uses to watch over children. However, when Lotso took over Sunnyside, the High Council worked (via Good Works In Mysterious Ways or whatever the trope is called) to get Woody and the gang over there to take Lotso out.
As for the new Pixar Short... That miiiiiight be a stretch, but I could see the whole "guardians of the natural cycle of nature''
My thoughts on Toy Story:
I agree with just about everything you say, but I think Lotso wasn't a pawn, but a rather successful client. After their experiment with Stinky Pete, the Friends decided to invest in a more long-term plan for this world. When they sensed Lotso's rage over being abandoned, they led him to Sunnyside like you said. I think they gave him intimidation, like Shere Khan and a few others, which allowed him to rule the day care center with an iron fist. It was implied in the movie that a lot of toys didn't make it out of Sunnyside - those were Lotso's payments. I thought he was a really dark, cruel villain, and I think the Friends would have long-term plans for him. Because this world doesn't have too many powerful souls, he was able to get away with his schemes for years. I like the idea of the High Council hiring Barbie and Ken to run the daycare for the toys - I'll add that into the Toys' entry after a week.
As for the short... Yeah, I think they actually fit nicely in with characters like the Spring Sprite and Grandmother Willow - guardians of nature. We can say that they aren't very involved with the actual war, but they work to protect the big picture.
That intimidation thing works...it would explain why all of his old henchmen were so willing to go along with the new system at the end, only Ken and Big Baby had reasons for wanting it to change. I guess this one is yours then.
Excellent. I'll add them next Friday.
I'm also going to look at the old Pixar shorts to see if I want to add anyone. No one comes to mind right now, but you never know.
I had another interesting idea for an agent in Toy Story 3.
The DUMP. It's an evolved version of the Magnet, beefed up in power by the Friends' tech resources, and it consumes the souls of the Toys brought to it by Lotso. The incinerator is a portal to the Other Side. Having seen Brave Little toaster a while back, the parallels between that scene and Worthless really stood out. What do you think?
That sounds good. Watching the movie again (yeah, I've already seen it twice, sue me) I'd agree Lotso would be more suited as a client rather than a pawn. He was rather sinister.
Haha don't feel bad I saw it twice within two days :) I imagined the dump as connected to the Fire Bird, due to its destructive power.
Tomorrow's the week mark, so I'll probably add the stuff early. Two new entries for the Friends, and I'll expand the toy entry for the High Council.
Whoever is posting the new entries for the Friends, good creative thinking, but you need to categorize them better. Their are only seven actual Friends, the Inner Circle is full, and the rest are sorted based on appearance in media.
Hide / Show RepliesWell, the Skeleton Ghosts should be able to stay under Friends since they are an essential part of the client package...ready to order mooks seems to fit. But yeah, I put the cap on the Inner Circle strictly because of this, I wanted to avoid anyone promoting their favorite villains.
And while we're on the subject, nothing on Birth By Sleep until a month after its North American release date. I put the wait limit up largely to avoid having the game spoiled for me.
EDIT: Okay, I've added a rule saying those things need to be passed by everyone else first. I think it fits.
Edited by MichaelJJThank you, Michael JJ, for your compliment. I'm the one whose adding the new entries for the friends on the other side and their minions. Feel free to comment any time!
I've added a line, allowing villains like Shan-Yu, Gaston, and Frollo to continue serving as Agents after they die. They're not part of the Inner Circle, but it allows Chernabog to keep those clients he liked around for his purposes. I think it's a decent middle ground that will keep the Inner Circle from getting too crowded. Hope it meets with people's approval.
Thanks. I probably should have added that sooner, but I'm not as good at maintaining this as I should be...I never expected it to get so big.
I also think Maleficent's goblin troops should be working for the Friends as mooks. Don't you agree with me?
What would the card soldiers and gwythaints be to fit in with this idea?
Card soldiers would be regular citizens of Wonderland. I'm not sure where gwythaints are from.
Gwythanits are the dragon birds that the Horned King uses in the Black Cauldron to search for the titular object
EDIT: I just added the barking sea monster from a little mermaid story in a Disney Scary Storybook Collection, circa 2003.
Edited by DisneyWarrior95New question, but I really think the Leviathan from Atlantis should be working for the Friends as their residential big monster.
I'm finding Kingdom Keepers inclusion kinda questionable considering the story's nature as the Real World but embellished with A.I.s becoming a crapshoot at Disney World. Not to mention a story with Walt being such a key part in the backstory and exposition would kinda be a slippery slope that would end up bringing in obvious joke entries like Michael Eisner and his whole administration as being clients to the Friends.
Hide / Show RepliesWell, it is stated that it's not AI crapshoot, but villains crossing over from the Disney worlds. It actually rather fits the whole Wasteland idea. If it gets bad enough, we will remove it, but let's let it simmer a bit first.
EDIT: I've spelled out the circumstances a bit. How about the rest of you? Do you think this should be cut now, or do you want to wait and see?
Edited by MichaelJJIt's a Disney-approved book series, right? And didn't we actually introduce the concept of the theme parks being portals of sorts?
I think it's fine - we should see how it goes. The book series sounds pretty interesting.
Could you go more into detail how the villains work in regards to DHI? Never read the books as I'm of the opinion an adventure like that should have been left to the professionals and not some Disney Channel rejects.
Basically, it's a deconstruction of Clap Your Hands If You Believe. The villains enter the real world because enough people believe in the magic of Disney, including the villains. At first, they can't be seen by normal people, only the Keepers in their DHI forms. The DHI are holographic hosts that are modled after the five kids, who were specifically chosen because of their skills but weren't told what was happening until it was too late. At night they become the DHIs, when they can see the Overtakers. The villains become powerful enough to manipulate things, including weather, etc. By the end of the book, Maleficent's powerful enough to be seen, but she admits to being a servent, not the leader. From what I hear, Chernabog is the leader, which just makes this fit better.
So how much are actual manifestations and how much are controlled A As? Considering the odd set-ups like Stitch, Small World dolls and the Country Bears as mooks?
Wel', I've only read the first book, but Maleficent seemed real, the mooks were just controlled AAs. Blackbeard from POTC seemed real, his pirates mindless (and still explicitly mechanical), the "it's a small world" dolls mindless. I'll say more after a read the second book.
Out of curiosity, does anyone remember when Phil was demoted from the High Council? I'm pretty sure he was there at the beginning.
While I know we're trying to keep the numbers down, he may have been removed accidentally. And if we're making him the main trainer of the High Council's forces, he really belongs there.
I'll leave it up to the group if they want to reinstate him.
Hide / Show RepliesWell, the original idea for the High Council was basically for The Obi-Wan types, but looking back maybe he should. If he's of such a high rank he should probably be there. Also, Hercules should be moved up, since we already have the commanders of the other two forces up there.
That works. The Generals seem like they should be there, and Phil basically fills Yen Sid's role for the more physical fighters. I'll add them back up. Especially since Hercules is closely tied to Zeus.
Should we add a neutral section? For those that are involved, but not directly [Ned, Candance], neutrals [Witch Hazel] and potential clients [Brer Fox, Doofenshmirtz]
Hide / Show RepliesOkay, I tried making a new folder, but the entries come out looking bunched together, despite looking just fine in the preview. Anyone know how to fix that?
EDIT: Okay, nevermind, it fixed itself.
Edited by MichaelJJA few things I've changed.
First off, add nothing else to the Friends or the Inner Circle section without running it by here first. Friends can't leave the Other Side except in Wonderland, so entries like the Friebird make no sense there. If they can leave, they're agents. And the Inner Circle, the big eight, is enough. Others might work close to them, but those eight are in charge.
I've removed the shipping stuff from the Inner Circle members. Nothing ruins anything faster than shipping, so let's not have it.
Also, nothing on Birth By Sleep. At all. I don't know how much clearer I can be.
We aren't accepting the Power Rangers because they are airing on a Disney owned blocked. We don't accept Naruto or Jimmy Two-Shoes either, even though they have similar circumstances.
Finally, when you add something, be sure to pothole it unless it's under Disney Theme Parks or Classic Disney Shorts, where it would be redundant.
Thank you.
Hide / Show RepliesMichael JJ, I'm planning to add Edgar from the Aristocats in the Friends section. Is this a good idea?
Yes, adding new villains is okay, I meant don't put them in the same league as Chernabog or the Inner Circle. Those are off limits.
Edited by MichaelJJHere is a good idea: lets have some heroes actually working for the friends. A good example would be Chicken Little.
Hide / Show RepliesUgh. This theory's already convaluted enough without stuff like like. Besides, we placed CL. It's done with.
Excuse me, but is anyone noticing me anymore? I'm editing the Disney page which most of you have already seem to have forgotten.
Hide / Show RepliesIt's just a period of low activety. Things will pick up again soon, they always do.
Yeah, right now we've filled out almost all of the Disney canon, besides a few small details here and there. I mean, we've even got the evil opera singer in there. ;)
The main thing left to do is to keep up on new features and add them.
Well, there is still quite a bit...but it's all the obscure stuff at this point. Live action movies, Disney Channel stuff, books...research needs to be done.
The next one I'm looking to add is Race To Witch Mountain. It was an action movie with aliens and a Badass Normal hero, so there should be some entries there.
I was thinking of that too...maybe the higher ups in the alien government were in league with the Friends, and needed the war to collect the souls they needed.
I was thinking about the older Witch Mountain movies too...Aristotle Bolt could be in with the Friends.
Walden's not exclusively Disney though. Especially now that Narnia's now being distributed by Fox.
Ah, I thought there was some problem there. Thanks.
I added a new entry for a recent live-action movie.
I've already added the White Witch because the first movie was made by Disney, and that will never change.
EDIT: I just added a whole slew of baddies for people to edit for clarification, just for everyone to know.
Edited by DisneyWarrior95We should make the wasteland its own section, like how Marvel is.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2D Hide / Show RepliesWas Sonic SATAM created before or after Disney bought DIC?
Hide / Show RepliesActually, is Underground still owned by Disney, or did it go to Cookie Jar? If so, it's like Power Rangers, it doesn't fit.
I think the Ringmaster from Dumbo should simply be a victim of the Friends, like how Ned and Candace are.
Hide / Show RepliesGame's basically you and Jiminy Cricket setting things right after he takes the endings out of a storybook featuring Peter Pan, Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland and Snow White.
Dumbo level has the Ringmaster putting Dumbo through an endless series of crueler and crueler stunts.
Heres my concept. Friend claimed souls can go bezerk at the whim of the Friends. This is exactly what is happening.
Because it weas decided that two weeks was a bit too long, most people would have seen it by then, certainly those who care about spoilers. Check under the Prince of Persia discission.
By the time the episide premires, most people will have seen it.
Edited by miruScrooge Mc Duck's comic canon should stay seperated from his [1] canon. Maybe we could replace Mc Duck with Scrooge from the 2009 Christmas Carol movie?
Hide / Show RepliesIt already is, really. The current one is for Duck Tales and other animated apperances. Just make a new entry for comics Scrooge, and note the difference.
Does anyone feel that Gantu and Dr. Hamsterviel should be working with the Friends? Or for that matter, what about the T.Rex from Rite of Spring and Cardinal Richelieu?
Hide / Show RepliesI was thinking about adding Hamsterviel, but I didn't really watch the series. Go for it. As for Gantu, wasn't he added? I thought he worked for them briefly before making a Heel–Face Turn.
I don't know about the T-Rex, it wasn't really shown doing anything evil, just being a carnivore. Where was Cardinal Richelieu from?
I was also thinking of Maestro Tetti-Tatti, from Make Mine Music.
Cardinal Richelieu is from the 1993 Three Musketeers and I added Gantu. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If Richelieu is from a Disney production, he can be here.
EDIT: I'm currently reading the Kingdom Keepers and Peter And The Starcatchers series. Expect entries on them very soon.
Edited by MichaelJJSo, what are we going to do if Saban buys back the Power Rangers?
Hide / Show RepliesHe did buy it back, as far as I can tell. Best solution- remove the characters Disney was only involved with in the sense of having legal rights to for ten years. Keep the characters created during Disney's reign, since they have reason to be able to claim the rights to those characters in court (specifically, created by Disney-employed persons for a Disney-owned production, with the inevtable "everything I create belongs to the Company" contracts invovled), which, considering the power of Disney lawyers, means the characters are for all intents and purposes Disney creations.
In short, Zordon, Rita, Dark Spector, and Vile go, Power Rangers SPD characters stay.
Never mind. Apparently spoiler text doesn't work on this page.
Suffice it to say, I'll definitely have some entries from Prince of Persia in two weeks.
Edited by millenniumrex Hide / Show RepliesWhat do you mean? I've seen it work on other discussion pages.
sample text
It's working for me.
Edited by millenniumrexOkay, testing.
sample text
Worked there. Maybe I had some formatting error first. I'll repost my ideas.
Edited by millenniumrexOkay, so Prince of Persia. Early thoughts, spoilered appropriately:
The villain, Nizam, didn't seem like a major player. He didn't have any magic powers, so I think we should just make it so he's one of the Friends' pawns. They made him aware of the Sands, and pointed him in their direction. The Friends were going to use his plan to reset time to establish a power base in Persia. The Hassansins could be a snake cult that worships the Friends. They played a small role in the movie, but they definitely seemed like they were in league with them. The heroes side is where this movie gets interesting. The holy city of Alamut seems like it could be a big player for the High Council. The way the Sands of Time work have some similarities to things like the Fairy Godmother's wand. The Sands of Time could be a powerful reservoir of good magic that all the magic-based heroes can draw on when they're in need.
I'll add all this once the waiting period is up. And man, from the trailers to Sorcerer's Apprentice, that one's going to be a big one too.
Just saw the movie, all of it sounds good. We'll leave it in your hands then.
BTW, what do you think of shortening the movie wait time a week?
I think that's a good idea. The vast majority of a movie's business gets done the first week, especially when it comes to people who are likely to care about spoilers.
I think someone posted that bear from Fox and the Hound in the wrong spot. Even from reading the bio, it's possible someone just got lazy and mis-poeted. I'll take care of it.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'm reeeally starting to question the idea of the Firebird as Dark Is Not Evil. Yes, natural disasters such as lava flow do pave the way for new life, but he's too malicious to be within High Council, especially seeing as Disney's put him in with the villains and he's basically a counterpart to Chernabog.
Hide / Show RepliesI only saw the movie once, years ago. If you think it should be changed, go for it.
Question about the waiting period: Can we discuss things on this page? I know we can't post them on the main page for two weeks, but I was wondering if we could discuss theories.
I'm about to add an entry from Toy Story 3 in the "Coming soon" area, and with Prince of Persia out and Sorcerer's Apprentice and TS 3 right around the corner, we'll probably have a lot of new entries soon.
Hide / Show RepliesYes you may. Use spoiler tags, though. Besides, I think everyone who's seen the trailer can figure out what will happen in TS 3.
If we've got The Proud Family's version of Al Roker, shouldn't we consider the evil peanut clone thing from the movie. I didn't see the whole thing, so someone who has, please help me out here.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesNow that we have a page quote, what do you guys think about an image on this page? I can't imagine what one would be, but if you guys have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
Hide / Show RepliesYeah, Fantasmic! would probably work. If you've got anything you think is good, post it.
Looks good. Do you know how to get it aligned on the right side of the page though? I'm trying to find out how right now.
Okay, nevermind, I fixed what was bothering me. And thanks for the image, I owe you one.
New idea: Who thinks the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus would belong on this little list? I do.
Hide / Show RepliesI've been looking at some of the old Disney TV movies, seeing if anything fits. It's probably the biggest corner of the Disney universe we haven't touched yet.
I'm also looking at Halloweentown. I'm sure that Franchise has some candidates.
I think I know just who you're talking about, but I'm gonna need help expanding it if you mean who I think you mean. I could even connect to the other Halloween Town.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatAre we sure the residents of The Haunted Mansion belong with the High Council? I mean, the Ghost Host hosts HalloWishes, where he parties with several villains, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts are among the villains in House of Villains. I know the Mansion's history is All There in the Manual that I haven't read, but it just seems weird.
Hide / Show RepliesI'd say they're True Neutral. Maybe the mansion is an Oasis spot for spirits? Those deceased who don't want to be sucked into the Friends' plan come to the Haunted Mansion, and while the villains occasionally come to a place of such high supernatural activity for R&R, the Ghost Host and co. aren't actively helping the villains.
What milenniumrex said is about what I had in mind when adding them. And the ghosts of the Haunted Mansion are mostly party loving spirits that can mostly be summed up by that line in This is Halloween "That's our job, but we're not mean..." And the Hitchhiking Ghosts would definitely be the neutral sort. The villains may have let them come to their party, which is common sense for Halloween, but they and the other Mansion ghosts had a good time screwing around with Pete in another Halloween episode of House of Mouse.
Yeah, that sounds about right. The Ghost Host at least seems to have a morbid sense of humor. But since he hangs around Inner Circle members during Halloween, it just made things suspicious.
So does Jack Skellington in the Disneyland version of Hallowishes, but that doesn't stop us from putting him in High Council either.
Ah. Well, since Frollo, of all people, is seen associating with demons and all that at Disney Theme Parks villain gatherings perhaps we should take those shows with a grain of salt. I've mostly trusted your judgement in the matter since I'm not well versed in a lot of Disney World backstory. It's fine.
Edited by MichaelJJAlso, except for a few evil spirits, the residents of the Mansion are retired, mostly. They have no more cares in the war.
Plus, from what I understand the Haunted Mansion's backstory is largely a Multiple-Choice Past, with the only constants being Master Gracy hanging himself after his fiancee died. Trying to place it anywhere but neutral would be trouble.
If the muppets count, would Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal work too?
Hide / Show RepliesNope. They're still owned by the Jim Henson Company. All Disney has is the Muppets from the whole Muppet Show franchise and Bear in the Big Blue House
I want to thank whoever improved the Return to Oz stuff; My stuff was pretty half-assed. Now it's much more coherent.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesOkay, would shows aired, owned, and produced by ABC post-Disney purchase count for this? I know Disney subsidiaries like Pixar and Touchstone do count, but I want to make sure before I enter anything, but if it does...I may have one hell of an entry to add.
Hide / Show RepliesWell, Disney pretty much owns everything Marvel now, and that's retroactively, so why not? As long as Disney as full ownership, go for it.
Yeah, it seems to have been conceived at ABC from the beginning, and while it's partially produced by another production company, they're not likely to own the original concept.
I might as well just say it before I type anything up. It's Lost.
Another property we may want to include is Scrubs. I'd do it myself, but I'm not too familiar with it..
I've seen DV Ds of Lost being sold at Disney World. Yeah, I think that would fit. As for Scrubs, I personally like the show, but I'm not sure how to put it in.
Well, the Janitor as in league with the Friends, for one thing. Main character(s) as doctor(s) serving the High Council or something.
Nah, the Janitor may torment JD, but he's way too nice to be an agent of the Friends.
This also begs the question of whether Miramax would count, because I think the Friends would definitely be interested in DiVAS
Well, we're allowing Marvel, so...yeah, I suppose so. Just...not yet. I'm planning some reorganizing for the page, and I'd appreciate if we could stick to just Disney until I do it.
Finally got around to Scrubs...two weeks after it was suggested. Sorry about that.
Yes, apparently I have nothing better to do than ask, "Is this possible? How about this?". Any ways, my next question is, what about the Hitchhiker's Guide movie? That's Disney owned, right?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesA quick IM Db search says... its a grey area. Touchstone is listed as invovled in production and not distribution, but there are three other companies involved in production, one of whom has a distributional agreement, and the other two not being tied at all. I think this one is a grey area unless we know exactly how much Touchstone was invovled...
Damn! And I thought Humma Kavula might have fit right in hear. All that told me that the movie was Disney was the fact that the DVD previews were of Disney products.
On a side note, I could even have worked the Guide itself into the good guys' stable. I had the story and everything.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI've recently reorganized the page to make entries easier to find. Disney Animated Canon is split from other animated movies, comics, and television series. DAC and Pixar are now in chronological order outside the Friends, Inner Circle, and the High Council.
All characters are in the section the debuted in. i.e. The Phantom Blot in comics and the Mad Doctor under shorts. Oswald wasn't technically Disney until he was bought a few years ago, so he's still video games.
I'm a bit scatterbrained, so if you notice anything that didn't survive the shuffle, please fix it.
Now, onto new business. I'd like to get Disney Afternoon done next, but my memory of that era's a bit rusty. So I'll let Wiki Magic do the work. If you're interested, the following shows need entries:
Tale SpinBonkersThe Schnookums And Meat Funny Cartoon Show- Timon And Pumbaa
- Quack Pack
Disney's Doug
One final note: Red links enrage me. So if anyone's interested in writing up pages for The Swiss Family Robinson, The Haunted Mansion movie, Disney Villain's Revenge, Jungle Cubs, Darby O'Gill and the Little People, or Davy Crockett, I would appreciate it. (I'm about to start Nightmare Ned)
Added Tale Spin! That's the only one I'm familiar with. I added Baloo and gave his business a secret function for the High Council. I didn't add any of the villains, since they all seem like they wouldn't deal with the Friends, but feel free to add some if you want.
That's the only one of these shows I'm familiar with.
Okay, I remembered I saw a few episodes of Doug and the movie, so I added the main villain from there too.
I stopped watching Doug after Disney bought it. Did Bill Bluff (Bebe's dad, right?) take a level in Jerkass or something?
Edited by MichaelJJIn the movie, yeah. He was the main villain, and was plotting to kill some friendly monster that Doug found.
Roger did too, but that's considered more Character Derailment than anything.
I tried to do something for Bonkers, but I can't get the link to work. If someone could try fixing it, I would be grateful.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYou too! And you're welcome.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI put in the Mystic Mother as a replacement for Zordon, and now I can't think of any Big Bad to oppose her and keep the balance in the Power Rangers universe. Everyone I try to think up is either dead, turned good, or too small time to fill Dark Spector's shoes. Does anybody have any idea?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesOnimi, from SPD. He's not scheduled to die for another fifteen years.
Well, I sort of shaped the canon of this crossover so that Power Rangers first entered after the events of SPD, so no Omni. My idea was to riff on the re-release of the original show, but then I remembered how low on the totem pole Rita was. Now I'm back at square one.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great...Master Vile! He was never shown to be part of the Alliance, so its generally assumed he survived the Z-Wave and, Genre Savvy guy that he was, decided to leave the Insignificant Little Blue Planet alone from then on.
I actually thought of that hours before you posted that here. Funny coincidence, huh?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOne more thing! Does anyone know if that Dragonslayer movie is owned by Disney or Paramount? The Friends could use a force like the Vermithrax Pejorative.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great Hide / Show RepliesAs long as we're asking this, does anyone know if Yin Yang Yo is completely owned by Disney, or is it just distributed?
Edited by MichaelJJAccording to IM Db, production companies are Jetix Concept Animation and Walt Disney Television Animation, so go for it.
I would, but I haven't seen enough of the series. I was just sketchy on it and needed assurance.
So given that comics about Mickey and company and Pixar comics are included in the theory, why not the Marvel superhero comics? It's not like those can't be in here along with the Marvel Cinematic Universe given that A) The comics have a multiverse with alternate versions of characters anyway and B) We have both movie and Kingdom Hearts versions of characters in the theory already.
