I need someone elses eyes on this idea, does Silver Sable count as a Karma Houdini?
She does some horrible stuff and gets out of the story with no negative consequences; Beats up on our hero a couple times, violate constitutional rights of New York Citizens, and lets her men run wild in New York.
She got into, and actively pursued, physical altercations with Spidey. Which Spidey often took on the chin. (Because he is a gentleman /or/ So the ESRB didn't come crashing down /or/ Because she is more dangerous then Spiderman, making her an abuser beating up on a weaker opponent.)
The decision to start detaining civilians with no Due process had to come from high up, the materials to build 6 "camps" do not come from nowhere. That call, HAD to cross Silver Sabels desk, meaning she is responsible for the violation of rights.
During the Silver Base attack on the Mercenaries who were stealing, and throwing their victims in cells because; "they wanted to." Yuri says, that Silver Sable knows about, but she doesn't have the resources to deal with it. Slightly okay, until you realise that Silver Sable is a badass one woman army who can break grown men with a toothpick! She could easily go take care of the problem herself, if she cared enough to stop it. Furthermore this incident doesn't even take into account the Protesters, the street execution spiderman stopped when we first met them, and whole list of other incidents.
After all this, Sable is then given her Face Heel Turn, then put on the bus, but not before her and Spidey become friends. Spidey of course forgives her despite everything, because he has weakness for morally dubious boobs with white hare I guess. However, this might just be isolated to me, or there might be a peace of lore I am missing.
Or maybe the Spiderman Comic Book fans would have revolted if Silver got slapped with Karma, I don't know, I don't read the Spiderman Comics.
There are some entries that are written in future tense, mentioning the trailer as if new.
