A few reasons:
1. Theres No Such Thing As Notability, which means any work can get its own page if someone desires it to be.
2. It's common for individual games to get their own pages, and I don't see why SC should be any different. Especially with the whole reboot and epic story thing, I don't want it lumped with everything else.
3. This game is essentially a clean slate for the series as an effective reboot after V. It's believed there will be an altered timeline, which could start everything over again. For that reason alone, I decided it should have its own page.
I won't object or anything, I just want to know for matters going forward.
Though I will say I guess I don't do enough reading on the subtleties of using TV Tropes.
Is there a reason for the inconsistency with "Soul Calibur/Soulcalibur"? It should be one word, but even on the main trope page for the game, both versions are used. I first noticed on another trope page when a link to this page showed up as Soul Calibur VI instead of Soulcalibur VI.

Why was a new page created for this game? Is this standard practice now?
