Not the troper in question that changed the example, but Georgio is implied in a few places to be male in-universe, not female, with Kate's casting mostly to play up the absurdity of the game. (Notably, the distinctly male suit, growing a beard prior to the mountain chapter, the priest referring to them as "my son.") That said, Georgio's gender is still somewhat ambiguous, so avoiding pronouns for them entirely (or using gender-neutral ones) on the page might not a be a terrible idea.

I noticed that the Paper Thin Disguise example I wrote had the pronouns changed from "she" to "he."
This is likely a case of me being ambiguous with my wording, but it's Georgio who does the exasperated nod, not Mickey.
