Addendum: apparently the game doesn’t order the chapters chronologically at all (Twilight of Edo Japan is placed as the last of the seven), so there might just not be a distinctly stated order at all.
Heads up!
Dataminers got ahold of the game and they apparently found something extra, so beware of leaks!
Hide / Show RepliesI don't think I'd want to provide one; I ran away from the source when they started mentioning the datamines finding something extra and I want to experience the remake for myself.
Sorry if I sounded like a nuisance.
EDIT: Once I finish the remake, I'll gather information about the datamining so it can be documented.
Edited by XenothekidO-D-O looks sort of like the T-Rex enemies from Final Fantasy VI...at least, I think so. Where would that go exactly? Is it a Shout-Out, or something else?
Oh no! The DREADED AQUAE MORTIS! No, wait, it's just your imagination. Hide / Show RepliesAnd on the note of Shout-Out, are we really sure that the behemoth is a reference to Final Fantasy? The original person who wrote that it was said that the behemoth was purple (which it is in FF but in this game it's green) and colors aside, the two aren't exactly the closest in appearance.
Double or nothing! What's wrong? It looks pretty good to me.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"
Across all of the game's pages, the chronological order of the chapters has listed Imperial China/The Successor before Twilight of Edo Japan/The Infiltrator. In the remake itself, it seems that they're listed in the opposite order, with Japan second and China third. Since I'm not sure how the timeline order was decided on (it may have been based on the original game or marketing materials), I wanted to bring it up here before things get shifted around in case editors have preferences.
