I'm not sold on the idea, tbh. Subfolders made sense for Hitman/Hitman 2 because those levels were released episodically. So you can read the article without spoiling what comes later.
Edited by worldbeaterHitman 2 isn't episodic though, all the levels released at once. The newest location is The Bank, and that was released a few days ago, which was expansion pass DLC, not an episode. Hitman 2 is very blood money in how it released. My guess is the folders on Hitman 2's page are a permutation lifted from 2016's page to give consistency among the two games (2016 levels are in hitman 2 via legacy pack).
Edited by Dribbleondo The Hitman guy.It works because of the sheer volume of content in those levels. Conversely, the subfolders for BM would be much smaller. Most would fall under "misc" or somehing like that.
I'm content to keep this page as is, to show the strides this series has made from Absolution to Hitman '16. (In fact the sheer scope of Hitman / Hitman 2 is why I haven't edited those pages. Too much work)
The folders the game do have are already quite long, so I will be changing the letters around a bit to make it easier to read (and fixing red links), but I doubt the folder pages will be really small as you say. Even the Snow Festival, a limited-time level reskin of Hokkaido in Hitman 2, has loads of tropes associated with it, so I doubt the Blood Money levels will have any less than any level in Blood Money.
I'll do a sandbox page of the game to see what it looks like, I think it'll just look a bit nicer with dedicated location subfolders, honestly.
Edited by Dribbleondo The Hitman guy.https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Sandbox/HitmanBloodMoney Sandbox has been created. I regret the URL name, I was trying to keep it off the main page =/. I'll add more tropes to their folders over the coming days.
Edited by Dribbleondo The Hitman guy.I've done as much as I want to do on the sandbox page, as regrouping all of them takes time. I think there;'s enough tropes in each folder to give a decent idea of what it looks like.
The Hitman guy.
I'm considering on reformatting the page to use the same kind of folder style as the Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 ,with each folder containing a different location, and a seperate folder for tropes that apply to all or most missions. My reasoning is that those two games are heavily inspired by this games' level sandbox design, with unique events per level that aren't applicable everywhere.
Any thoughts?
