afaik they're unrelated games both in the neo-classic 90s shooter genre with the same publisher and different devs
On both the Adaptation expansion and Compressed Adaption tropes, the page count (24) is wrong. maybe it's been burned out of my memory, but the final page count was more around the 45-48 range.

I just checked the Comic Book, Comrade Jacob is right.
The pdf reader states it contains 26 pages, while the story itself occupies 23 of them (the rest is the cover, the title pages, and the credits at the end). That being said, each page of the file (except p. 1, the cover) contains what would count as two pages in printed format, so the whole work would count as either 46 or 51 pages.

46 was the final count not counting the non-story pages, 51 pages in 26 Spreads.
About the last edit: Is it confirmed that Amid Evil is a spiritual sequel to Dusk or it's just the troper's assumption?
