On some maps set in the USA there are civilians with handguns who do pitiful Scratch Damage and are at best an annoyance if they attack your units. Could this have been a sort of Take That! to the Right-Wing Militia Fanatic Gun Nut groups or a sort of Deconstructive Parody of movies like Red Dawn with US civilians taking up arms against a foreign invader?
Regarding the page quote
In the vanilla game, it is said by both Rhino and Apocalypse (hence the word "tanks") , which had the same voiceset.

A unique one was added for the expansion for the Apocalypse, so technically it's unique to Rhinos only in the upgraded version, that's why I believe "tanks" (generic) is more encompassing. The quote was also said at the end of a cinematic, I believe.
