Is this show (or rather, its characters) considered to be Real Life? After all, more or less all of what we see is done via Manipulative Editing, so to interpret as Real Life seems to be stretching things just a bit.

Take, for instance, Coby in Palau. He doesn't strike me as a Smug Snake in real life, but because his scheming and complaining got him out at the merge, he was edited as one to better fit in with the season's "story"
