* WhatTheHellHero: Although the crew's intentions are good, given the premise is that the addicts believe they're in a documentary on addiction, when the intervention happens, often the addicts get pissed off at the crew for lying to them and tell them off.

I never watched the show, so I'm not sure, but the description of the show and its tropes doesn't make it seem like the addicts view the production crew as heroes, which is required for the trope to apply.

If they do actually view the crew as heroes, please clarify before re-adding.

Generally in the moment of the actual intervention the addict has nothing but disdain for the crew of the show.
