I mean, it is iconic and probably not that pervy. I personally would have gone with a compromise that we keep quotes which are comments by the people officially working on the games (obviously they can't go too far to not hurt how the series is perceived) and not reviewers/fans.
Edited by Piterpicher Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)^ I get where you're coming from and it makes sense to not add reactionary quotes from reviewers and fans. I'm still concerned about the nature of the quote though, because even though Kenichiro Takaki is sort-of a famous figure, he's shown to be very open about his lewd statements.
I don't think that quoting someone saying "tits" and "ass" is going too far for the site. No Lewdness, No Prudishness gives nine examples of things that are unacceptable. That quote trips none of these things.
^ Another good point. I'll have to discuss with Lu about this after.
Got a reply back from Lu. They said it's ok for Takaki's quote to stay.
Ok, I'm starting a discussion here about the nature of the quotes based on this ATT query. Now as you're aware, Lu removed most of them because they violated No Lewdness, No Prudishness, which just leaves the one quote from the director of Senran Kagura, Kenichiro Takaki himself. It's the memetic "Tits are life. Ass is hometown" quote.
Now Lu removed this because they deemed it as not acceptable. However, after some disagreement from some users, rjd1922 re-added it back in without mod approval. Regardless of what others say about the quote being iconic to the series, I still stand by Lu's decision to remove it for violating No Lewdness, No Prudishness, but I would like to hear other people's thoughts on this (including maybe the mods if they're interested). Is Kenichiro Takaki's famous quote worth keeping or not?
