I feel that the recent edit to 'militaries are useless' swings a little in the opposite direction. While I will admit that the original entry was inaccurate due to being written early on, I think the newer one is a little too unclear

I'd suggest an entry that notes it's only mostly subverted: the trope is somewhat played straight at first, it takes time for the subversion to really take any hold, but I'd agree it's a subversion in the end, albeit not to the degree the current entry seems to lean towards. Perhaps something like this?

[ * Militaries Are Useless: Subverted in The Wedding Arc after seemingly being played straight. Whilst most of the Royal Guards are quickly removed by Chrysalis's manipulations early on, seemingly playing it straight, the remnants regroup and prove effective in taking out key components of Chrysalis's operation, being vital to the eventual victory. Plus, those removed were actually heading back, and the Changelings themselves pretty much admit they'd have stood little to no chance in an open battle. ]

Also, could both that draft there and the current entry may need to bear in mind spoilers too?

Military is usesless: I personally don't see the incompetance. As far as I can tell, things have been adequately explained. Am I overlooking something?
