AM, God of Life That Makes Death Preferable (Allied Mastercomputer, Aggressive Menace, I Think Therefore I AM)
I feel like the current goddess of Cast From Life Span has very little to do with the trope in her story.
I nominate Nita Callahan and Kit Rodriguez from Young Wizards to replace her
Nita Callahan and Kit Rodriguez God and Goddess of Language of Magic and Cast From Life Span (for Nita: Juanita Louise Callahan, Neets.)
Note, this is a work in progress. Comments will be worthwhile.
Okay, wanting to add Horrible Histories' Death in. Does this need to be fleshed out a bit?
Death, Judge of the Too Dumb to Live
Yes. It needs work.
Okay, can I get some help with it?
Sonya Blade shouldn't be the goddess of kiss of death. She doesn't have one. That goes to Katina
Techically she does have Kiss of Death multiple times. Its just that hers are blowkisses rather than normal kisses.
but Katina is more known for it. So she should be the goddess
I'd like to nominate Sue the T-Rex, a zombie dinosaur from "The Dresden Files" for some kind of position in the "Life and Death" pantheon. I thought about adding her to the Beast and Magic pantheons, but nobody really seemed to be interested in supporting that. It's not a huge deal to me, but that part of the book is widely considered one of the crowning moments of awesome in the series, so I figured she deserved a spot around here SOMEWHERE.
If I'm reaching on this, let me know, but I honestly think she could be a pretty good lesser goddess on here.
Do any Immortality tropes qualify for the Life and Death pantheon? Like Immortality Immorality, Who Wants to Live Forever?
Mami Tomoe should have never died the way she did!
... What the... Okay I know this isn't negative, but... why are you suddenly forcing your thoughts to other places? What next, are you going to bash Charlotte this way next? Try to calm down.
My problem is the way she died, I have no problem killing of a character, if they wanted to kill her off thats fine, but NOT WITH THE MONSTER OF THE WEEK! That's a rule, never kill an established character with the monster of the week. I mean after Mami's unnecessary death Charlotte goes boom boom at least less then 1 min later.
Now I do like the show, but I just thought this was completely uncalled for. It's just I'm so sick of the stupid Mami head jokes all due to a unnecessary death.
I need to vent my anger and this is the only way I can get it off my chest. And if she is in the pantheon she should be the goddess of BFG's. Just a thought.
Why not vent it to the forums instead? It's more proper that way.
I don't know how.
Here's a starter
For your consideration.
Donald Mallard, God of Medical Examiners (Dr. Mallard, Ducky)
Eh... I'm a fan of the show and characters, but if you're gonna nominate Ducky for the pantheon, I think you'd have to spice it up a bit. Add some flavor, add an enemy of some kind. Give him an ambition to autopsy Death one day. That kind of thing.
Is there a god for Skeletons In The Closet? If not, can I suggest Vordred the Paladin Slayer from Adventure Quest Worlds? He was specifically created to kill Artix and become the Champion of Darkness and his skull based armor can absorb all light-based spells. It also help give Daniel Fortesque a good enemy.
I question Maimi being labeled as the Goddess of Early Deaths, yet is hotlinked to Sacrificial Lamb, when she is really more of a Sacrificial Lion. And if there should be a separate god for Sacrificial Lion, I would recommend Eddard Stark from A Song Of Ice And Fire.
Eddard 'Ned' Stark God of Surprise Deaths [[ (Warden of the North, Lord of Winterfell, Hand of the King)
What is the policy for series spoilers on the Pantheon?
3 episodes doesn't seem to be long enough to qualify as one. If Surprise Death has a trope page that's similar, he could get one.
I second this update. Particularly the censored part about a certain wedding.
Where does Dr. Kiriko fit in this House?
I'd like to propose an idea for a God of Serial Killers. Here's what I have in mind.
Jack The Ripper, God of Serial Killers (The Whitechapel Murderer, Leather Apron, and various identities across The Multiverse)
A good fill, but you will need to have mentions of occasionally, he was played for chumps. Like how he, in Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure... gets to be a minor underling of Dio Brando.
Alright, I took your suggestion. Is what I put suitable?
Pretty good, but you should also add up why despite all those ass-kicking he got he still retained his Godhood.
Hmm, any suggestions?
I'd like to propose Epsilon as a God of Rebirth by Memory. This is what I have so far.
Epsilon, God of Rebirth by Memory (Leonard Church)
I'll go and add it if nobody protests.
Ok, how about Andrew Hussie as god of character killing. and rekilling. then killing the ghosts of said twice-dead characters.
I realize that we haven't gotten a deity for I Let Gwen Stacy Die... Seriously, it's one trope we need a rep for. But what kind of name would it get, one name that doesn't invoke the Trope Namer? "Anguish-causing Deaths"?
And then there's the candidates. I can only think of...
Pitch in your ideas here.
Gwen Stacy, Goddess of Guilt-Causing Deaths
Do we have anyone who guides the souls of the dead? Because I was thinking we could add the Reapers from Kid Icarus: Uprising as "Soul Carriers of the Dead."
Has anyone heard of The Crow? I think he should be part of the Pantheon like he's the God of Resurrected for a Job or something. Any takers on that?
Yeah, I'd agree on that one. Only seen the first movie, though, so I'm really not the guy to write up a portfolio for him.
Okay, well I'll ask some of the others and see what they think.
Also, what do you think about the God of Paladins being Artix von Kreiger? If you don't know who he is, in his game he slays undead (and has lots of fun doing so), but in reality he is the Champion of Darkness who can defeat monsters by being an Undead Slayer.
Paladins go to Faith House.
I see that there isn't a God of Necromancy. How about Johann Faust VIII?
Johann Faust VIII, God of Necromancy and Loving the Dead
Jade the Necromancer would have a word with him. I mean, not that Jade should take the throne, but just be sure to put Jade in Johann's flavor texts.
I'll do some research and then possibly add something. Checked the page and that's what I came up with. Haven't actually played Tales Of The Abyss though, so there might be some Values Dissonance there.
I would like to propose an entry for Ridley as The Unkillable. I know we've got Rasputin, Kenny, and Kyosuke for Rasputinian Death, Back from the Dead, and Surviving That, but then Ridley pretty much combines the latter two.
Entry going something like this:
Ridley The Unkillable
EDIT: Added Sigma as a follower. So then, enough bumps to add him?
Followers: Sigma (He's known for getting killed in every game and yet surviving all of them and going back in the next game, up until X8. The Virus is what keeping him alive all the time.)
Sigma is pretty much a close contender to Ridley, honestly.
Ah. Haven't played most of the Megaman games. Maybe have them as co-gods?
No, just make him a follower. Unless someone else agree with you. =)
Sigma's a follower now. Anyone else? Would Xehanort count as well? As a follower, I mean. The dude's literally appeared in some form in every KH game except Chain of Memories and Re:coded.
Not sure about him, really... The first time, it was himself, then it's his Heartless, and then it's his Nobody. While they come from one source, they are different from each other.
And then presumably himself again in Dream Drop Distance and KHIII proper when it comes out, but I see what you mean.
we need a trope for useless deaths on this list
Death from Discworld should be on this list.
I added him. Can someone add some more info.
I wonder why the Shinigami from Kuroshitsuji aren't in this list? They certainly are more like Psychopomps than Ichigo ever was, of the three we have seen.
I just suddenly got an idea—how about Overlord Zenon as God(dess) of Reincarnation? Never mind.
I notice there is no God of Glorious Deaths. Does anyone else feel that this should be addressed?
(whoopsie double post)
Well there's Raoh... wait, wrong trope
Information on Nekron:
With the recent events of Blackest Night, what with Nekron's goal of killing the White Entity, the source of all life in DCU, revealed, we probably should up-grade Nekron into full-on Overdeity status, and update his portfolio.

How well does it match the trope?
