Given the consistent attempts at removing all examples of nightmare fuel from this page, it seems this page is redundant and should be deleted.

Misuse has been removed from the page. It's not surprising there aren't many examples so far given that it's a comedy show for kids.

Issues get discussed on the Nightmare Fuel clean-up thread.

If you want to discuss adding any other entries, pop along to the thread.

In case the link doesn't work, The "Nightmare Fuel cleanup and maintenance" thread is in the "Projects: Long Term/Perpetual" forum.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.

Sorry, the simple fact is that every example except for literally "The Halloween Episode" has been removed rendering this whole page redundant. What the show actually is is irrelevant to the argument, it is clear that the person who is bringing up notable standards has clearly removed any and every other example, ergo they must complete the task.

The whole page was looked at by the clean-up thread, and these three examples were the ones that were kept. They will not be removed. If you want to discuss any examples you think should be revisited, feel free to to raise the subject in the clean-up thread.

Does the following scene apply for Nightmare Fuel, given that it's a comedy scene parodying witches brewing potions (the joke of which is almost always that they've put something crazy into the potion).

  • In "Happy BirthdayWeen", Nora makes a love potion in a bubbling cauldron, complete with Evil Laughter, until she's interrupted by Pyrrha and Jaune. Jaune tells her that she'll never get Ren to drink it, but it turns out Ren was submerged in the cauldron the entire time, and when he tries to escape, Nora knocks him out and forces him back in.

The lighting of the scene, Nora's Slasher Smile, and how she treats Ren by practically drowning him does make it scary. Also, Nightmare Fuel counts as YMMV.

Nightmare Fuel also has a specific guidance scheme on what should and shouldn't count and a dedicated clean-up thread: scenes that are Played for Laughs are in that dodgy territory, which is why I put it on the Discussion Page. It's a Played for Laughs scene.
