"I Forgot That You Existed" is clearly a break up song right? The song is about a relationship/ break up that meant a lot to Taylor but now she just became apathetic to it. How is that NOT a break up song?

...It's about Kanye, isn't it? Don't think there's any lyric that refers to it as a romantic relationship.

Lyrics like this seem to make me think it is also based on her ex Calvin Harris: And I would've stuck around for ya / Would've fought the whole town, so yeah / Would've been right there, front row / Even if nobody came to your show / But you showed who you are, then one magical night

And also add to this: It isn't love, it isn't hate it is just indifferent

I don't think Taylor ever use the word Love for her songs about Kanye.

Yeah, still don't see anything in there that specifies she's talking about a romantic relationship rather than a friendship. If it's up to interpretation whether the song's about a romantic breakup, the example should at least note that.
