It has been 7 years since I finished the anime (and manga). I hated it for the better part of those 7 years, mostly because I was a wee wittwe weebwet and didn't know how hard ecchi could be (watching Dx D helped). I only recently realized that this show, for all my openness about hating this series, is living rent free in my head. After reassessing this series, I can honestly say that this series... is still pretty mid. But, it was the audacity of the ending that really stuck to me, after years of watching unsatisfying harem shows that had either the MC wuss out or pick the unpopular female character, it was amusing to see that.
The Messiah is no longer a trope. Please readd under an actual trope.
- The Messiah: Yuuto just wants everyone to get along. As long as there's a chance that his enemies can be reasoned with, he'll hold off from fighting. Even when he wins the following battle, he tends to spare his opponents. He also gets drawn into people's problems pretty easily and devotes his efforts to helping them.
I'm sure that there's a trope suited to yuuto's allergy to cats being kuesu's doing because she wanted to drive him apart from himari... I just can't think of which trope.
Edited by zettoCharacter Sheet
Since Omamori Himari features a wide range of characters, should a character sheet be implemented? I mean, other than Yuto and his female companions, there are ayakashi and the remaining Demon Slayers, each having their own trope.
I'll start one for now, but only with the bare bits, then I'll keep watch of the page over time.
Edited by K2NRPulled:
- Pettanko: Rinko and Shizuku.
Pettanko is not a trope. UsefulNotes.Pettanko is a fanspeak term definition only. The tropes are A-Cup Angst (girl is sensitive about her lack of size) or Petite Pride (girl is proud of her flat-chestedness). Anything else is not a trope. Please return this example to the page under the correct trope if (and only if) it fits one of those two tropes.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.
