Is there any point in having an \"Anime\" badge on this page if it redirects to the Manga mainpage?

  • Cruel Twist Ending: "All humans, without exception, eventually die. When they die, they go to Mu (Nothingness). Once dead, they can never come back to life."

This doesn't seem to qualify as a "twist ending", and it's the wrong kind of "cruel" to boot ("animals in the wild have to eat each other to live" cruel, rather than "your glasses broke right when you were about to have all the time in the world" cruel).

Should we split off the live action movies into a separate page, given how there's a different plot and somewhat different characterizations? And certainly the different ending.

Edit: Besides, then we can show profile pictures of the live action actors.

I think it would be a good idea, espically since american version has it's own page

Chopped this from Archenemy, as was Natter:

  • Let's not forget Near and Mello.
    • Near and Mello are more competing WellDoneSonGuys to the extreme. They'll fuck anyone over as pawns, Mello more likely to than Near because of the type of company he keeps, but in the end Near even says he needed Mello to take Light down, and Mello was only killed off because the writer thought he was more intelligent than the other characters.

Tidied this

  • Crazy Consumption: L's sweets, Mello's chocolate, Ryuk's apples, and Light's potato chips.
    • On a kinda-related note, has anyone else besides me noticed a shot of Sayu eating potato chips? Guess It Runs in the Family.
      • In the manga and there are *pages* of shots of Sayu eating chips. Light has ... one, albeit a damn good one.

Does L's torture of Misa Amane counts as a straight up Kick the Dog, or is it Kick the Son of a Bitch because she's evil?

It's more of a necessary evil, since they had no idea about how Misa killed people at the time and Kira needed to be caught.
