Ditto for disliking this trope. I don't see a correlation between being uptight and not having sex(*) If there's any correlation I've noticed, it's that guys who get lucky (sleep with really hot girl for the first time), often turn into complete douches for a long time.
(*) At least in cultures where sexuality is relatively unrepressed. Cultures that enforce separation of men and women OTOH don't seem very healthy to me.
