Why is Unison League on here!? I get that it has some form of character customization, but it's really not enough to call it a WRPG, especially since the class system isn't permanent and you can just keep on going.

Also, wasn't it made in the East?

Why is Lord Of The Rings The Third Age listed here? It's much more of an Eastern RPG, even though it was made in America. It's combat system was cribbed from Final Fantasy X and you can't make your own characters, and the plot is very linear. True, your character model changes when you equip armor and the visual style is more realistic, but I don't think it really belongs on this page.

the same with sonic chronicles and anachronox (not sure about summoner). They are most definitely JRPG's and don't belong on this page at all. LOTR:TTA is a JRPG too. Putting them on this page is like putting south park on an anime page.

Ditto Septerra Core. I think even the manual claims that that's a JRPG that just happened to be made in America.

This is why WRPG and JRPG aren't correct terms, you can't base a subgenre on where a game was made, you base it on the mechanics used in a game.

I agree, some of these are Western only in origin, but by mechanics and story elements are defined in the Eastern article. Deus Ex, Dragon Age 2, Ultima IX, and all of the Witcher games have predetermined characters, skillsets with minor to no variation, and linear plots and game progression.

I could probably try to make an argument that we nee to invent terms to replace JRP Gs and WRP Gs.

Wikipedia and the Internet still uses Eastern and Western, though. We don't try to force language on people; we merely document it.
