Dana O: We're sure Piscary owned a night club? Don't have the books at hand to double-check, but I had the impression Piscary owned a pizza parlor (which in that world, already implies it catered to nonhumans) and Kirsten changed it into a club while Piscary was in prison in order to keep the place in business. Evidently without permission, given that upon being released, Piscary tore the place up in a blind fury at the change. (There were other motives for Piscary having Kirsten killed, but that may have been in there as well.)
