Sadly, I'm not that familiar with the details. The extent of my knowledge is that the portrayal in Team America World Police ("If you don't stop, we will write you a letter telling you how angry we are.") isn't terribly far off.

Shouldn't there be something in the description describing the real life UN inasmuch as it would relate to the trope (something along the lines of a slightly more detailed "The UN is not really a military/governmental superpower.")?
