Chez Restaurant? Mais non, c'est le franglais! J'ai pensé toujours que ce fût «à la restaurant»...

Vous dites «chez» seulement lorsque vous parlez d'une personne...

This is exactly what happens when a foreign language is used without applying the underlying grammar. Used correctly, there wouldn't be any reason to complain, though...

Don't mean to rant here but...why do so many people seem to have a problem with anime-derived terms when we have this index!?

You make a good point about that...

On another note, it would help if someone fluent in the French language provides accurate translations of the listed trope titles (maybe as "hottips") so the page doesn't alienate people who aren't well-versed in French...

Hell, why can't we do that with "Anime Fanspeak" tropes*

(instead of changing them to Gratuitous English because We All Live in America)?

I could help if you wish. However, as a non-native speaker of French I'm likely going to have a few troubles, but if something is blatantly off, I'm still going to notice that.

Type the word in the image. This goes away if you get known.
If you can't read this one, hit reload for the page.
The next one might be easier to see.

How well does it match the trope?
