Would any TV shows fit this trope? What I'm thinking of is a lot of Myth Arc heavy shows will do a huge episode, likely a two-parter, halfway into a season. For example, Buffy did this a lot, like "Suprise/Innocence" in season 2. Would these count as Centerpiece Spectacular? They are in the centre of the Story Arc, are usually spectacular (or at least try to be). If you think of the season arc as one story, these big "event" episodes would take place roughly where a Centerpiece Spectacular would in a film.
If these episodes count, I can think of loads of examples, but I'm not sure. So, what do other Tropers think?
