In the Aubrey-Maturin series (and presumably also other works set prior to the invention of reliable anesthetics) this was pretty standard operating procedure - sudden involuntary movement could otherwise possibly endanger the patient. Should this be added here, even if it lacks the sinister "mad scientist"-For the Evulz element?

I seem to remember there being a Silent Hill 4-inspired music video (as in an official one, not a fanvid) that features Henry being strapped to a bed and being rolled down an empty hallway, but for the life of me I can't find it any more. (Or maybe I'm mis-remembering and it's SH 2's James...)
