In regards to the Justice League cartoon, this isn't actually an example of the trope as given, right? We, the audience, are aware of who Wally West is. Lex Luthor is not, because he has no reason to be aware of a non-famous individual from halfway across the country.
I suppose you could make a case for it being an in-universe example but that as well feels really weak, and would imply that Lex is, at least on some level, aware his universe is fictional.
