I'm not buying this "grapes are purple because Cabernet wine." Cabernet is dark red, maybe verging on red-violet; cartoon grapes are most often royal purple. I'm not familiar with Cabernet grapes IRL but the photos I've seen mostly appear blue.
Note to all: I don't participate in the forums here unless something much more important than TV Tropes content is at stake.

Could "all cows are piebald" be added or is this just for objects and not living stuff

It seems like there shouldn't be a Real Life section for aversions, seeing as these are almost by necessity divergent from Real Life. For example, this page doesn't contain an entry for Red Blood, because that's actually the color of blood. Everything on this page is averted, at least in part, by Real Life.
